What is the 1" x 36 Yard 3M Clear VHB Acrylic Foam Mounting Tape?
1" x 36 Yard 3M Clear VHB Acrylic Foam Mounting Tape (item 3M4950C). These adhesives bond, mount and laminate: the invisible part of a finished sign. It measures 1" x 36 Yard x 45 Mil. Material: Acrylic. Color: Clear. Shipping weight is about 2.0 lb.
Anyone mounting graphics, laminating panels or attaching signs without screws keeps these stocked. Bond strength, thickness and temperature range decide which tape holds; surface prep matters as much as the tape.
Before you order: match the tape to both surfaces and to the environment the sign will live in. Pressure and time build bond strength, so avoid stressing a fresh bond.
