What is the 10" x 20" Gloss White ChromaLuxe Aluminum Photo Panel?

A working photo panel. Anodised aluminum, light and corrosion-resistant. It measures 10" x 20" x .045" thick. This is the gloss white colorway.

Aluminum gives you a metal look and metal durability at a fraction of the weight, and it matters when you are shipping several hundred units. That is the difference between something kept and something replaced.

The image is fused into the surface rather than printed on top, so it will not yellow, peel or scratch off the way a mounted print does. That is why these outlast framed photography on a lobby wall. Laser engraving cuts through the anodised layer to bright metal. Sublimation-coated aluminum also accepts full-color photographic printing. The two together are why this item re-orders.

At this level the piece is doing relationship work, not advertising work. Reserve it for named recipients, key clients, top performers, long-service milestones, and personalize it individually. Concretely: $97.65 each at 1-11, $60.54 at 500+.

Decoration options

The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 8.5 in x 10 in.

Laser Engraving

A focused laser removes the surface layer to expose the substrate beneath. A permanent, high-contrast, single-color mark with no ink involved.

Best for

Logos, names, dates and fine text. The default choice when the mark has to outlive the campaign.

Color

Single color: the natural color of the material under the surface.

Dye Sublimation

Heat converts solid dye to gas, which bonds into a polyester coating or ceramic glaze. Full-color artwork embedded in the surface rather than sitting on top of it.

Best for

Full-wrap photographic decoration on mugs, coated drinkware and coated metal.

Color

Full color. Cannot print white. The substrate supplies white.

UV Printing

UV-cured ink is jetted directly onto the product and cured instantly under ultraviolet light. Full-color, photographic-quality artwork with hard edges and no dot gain.

Best for

Multi-color logos, gradients, photographs and exact brand-color matching.

Color

Full color, including white ink on dark substrates.

Artwork requirements

  • A 300 dpi raster at the actual imprint dimensions will run cleanly. Anything pulled from a web page usually will not.
  • If the logo is only available as a bitmap, we need it at 300 dpi or better at final size, ideally on a transparent background.
  • Supply Pantone (PMS) references for any color that has to match exactly.
  • Nothing is produced before you approve a proof in writing. That is a hard rule, not a courtesy.
  • Vector files are the safe option. They hold their edges whether the mark runs at an inch or a foot.
  • Type should be converted to curves or outlines, otherwise a missing font silently substitutes on our end.

Common uses

Recognition wallsBuilt for recognition walls. That is the use case the format was designed around, not one retrofitted to it.
Donor and founder displaysSpecified regularly for donor and founder displays. The imprint area at 8.5 in x 10 in is sized for exactly that job.
Milestone and retirement giftsBuilt for milestone and retirement gifts. That is the use case the format was designed around, not one retrofitted to it.
Fundraising and donor recognitionThanking the people who gave, in a form that quietly encourages the next person to.
Renewal and retention giftsTimed to the contract date rather than the calendar, which is when the recipient is actually paying attention.
Executive and board giftingShort lists, individual personalization, and a piece that survives scrutiny.
Client thank-you programsSent after a renewal, a referral or a project close, when the relationship is warm and the gesture will land.

Where this works best

The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.

1

Employee Recognition & Service Awards

Recognition fails when the object does not match the words. The presentation matters as much as the piece. An award handed over in a hallway is worth a fraction of the same award presented in front of the team, which means the object should be specified for the moment it will be photographed in, not the shelf it ends on. Decoration holds up in this setting, which is where cheaper substrates fail. $97.65 before breaks buys something that stays on a desk for years.

2

Nonprofit & Fundraising

Every pound spent on a donor gift is a pound not spent on the mission, so the gift has to earn it. Volunteer recognition is where the money works hardest. Volunteers give time that would otherwise cost you wages, and the marginal cost of thanking them properly is trivial against what their continued involvement is worth. An imprint area of 8.5 in x 10 in is enough for a logo and a line of text without crowding. Give this to the handful of people who genuinely moved the number.

3

Education, Schools & Universities

Education buys in waves: orientation, homecoming, graduation, staff appreciation. Budgets are tight and quantities are large, which pushes toward mid-tier items ordered in volume. Alumni and donor gifting is the exception: that is where the spend per unit rises sharply, because the return is measured in gifts rather than impressions. At this price the recipient list should fit on one page.

4

Healthcare & Senior Living

Healthcare buyers screen for practicality and hygiene before they screen for design. Shift work changes the specification. Items are carried between home, locker and ward, so anything that leaks, breaks or cannot go through a dishwasher gets abandoned within a fortnight regardless of how good it looked at the point of purchase. Executive tier. Treat the engraving as carefully as the invoice.

5

Real Estate & Closing Gifts

A closing gift is a referral instrument, not a thank-you note. Agents re-order what generates conversations, not what photographs well. Track which pieces prompt a referral call and the item list narrows quickly to two or three things worth stocking properly. Minimum order is a single piece, which suits how this segment tends to buy. Even at volume it holds $60.54, which tells you what tier this is.

6

Faith & Community Organizations

Faith communities give to mark moments rather than to advertise. Baptisms, confirmations, ordinations, volunteer milestones and building dedications all call for keepsakes carrying a name and a date. Understated decoration outperforms bold branding almost every time in this segment. The image is fused into the surface rather than printed on top, so it will not yellow, peel or scratch off the way a mounted print does. That is why these outlast framed photography on a lobby wall. Spend it where the relationship is worth more than the invoice.

What do buyers ask about CLX4116?

Can you work to a fixed in-hand date?

Yes, and it is the right way to brief us. Tell us the date the box has to be open rather than the date you want it shipped, and checkout works the schedule backwards from there. It refuses a date it cannot keep rather than accepting it and missing it. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.

Do you keep this item in stock?

Yes. The warehouse shows 54 of CLX4116 in stock as of the last hourly sync. If a color is short we say so the day you order rather than the week before the deadline. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.

Can I mix colors or sizes to reach a quantity break?

Yes, provided the artwork stays the same across the run. Different artwork is fine as well: it gets its own proof, and setup stays free. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+. The published ladder on CLX4116 runs from $97.65 a piece at 1-11 down to $60.54 at 500+, about 38% less per piece.

What does it actually cost at quantity?

Engraving is a separate line, shown per quantity in the cost table on this page, so the all-in figure is visible before checkout. Ground freight is free on orders over $250.

Can I order more later and have them match?

Yes. We keep the approved artwork on file against the item number, so a re-order runs from the same file. Material batches can vary slightly on natural materials, which is worth knowing if color matching across orders is critical. The published ladder on CLX4116 runs from $97.65 a piece at 1-11 down to $60.54 at 500+, about 38% less per piece.

What if the artwork does not fit the imprint area?

The personalization area on CLX4116 is 8.5 in x 10 in. If your mark does not sit well in that shape we redraw or re-proportion it and show you the result on the proof before anything is produced. Engraving is charged on the share of the area your artwork covers, so a smaller mark costs less.

Can I get a sample before committing?

Yes: order one piece. CLX4116 sells from a single unit at $97.65, the first rung of its published ladder, so a sample is simply a normal order. A decorated single piece goes through the same proof as a full run.

What is the minimum order for CLX4116?

There is no minimum beyond one piece on CLX4116. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+. The price per piece only goes down as the quantity rises.
