What is the 12 Plate w/ 4" x 6" Photo Holder, Completed Cherry Finish Perpetual Plaque?

A working plaque. Solid wood with a natural grain and a finished surface. It measures 13"(L) x 10 1/2"(H).

Worth knowing before you order: wood carries a warmth that metal and acrylic do not, and that is why it keeps showing up on service awards and retirement pieces where the message is personal rather than corporate..

Wall-mounted recognition stays visible to everyone who walks past, not just the recipient. Laser engraving burns directly into the grain for a permanent mark. Expect slight tonal variation between pieces. The two together are why this item re-orders.

Reserved for the occasion that actually earns it. One or two a year, presented properly, and on display for a decade after. Concretely: $120.75 each at 1-11, $74.86 at 500+.

Decoration options

The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 10 in x 9 in.

Laser Engraving

A focused laser removes the surface layer to expose the substrate beneath. A permanent, high-contrast, single-color mark with no ink involved.

Best for

Logos, names, dates and fine text. The default choice when the mark has to outlive the campaign.

Color

Single color: the natural color of the material under the surface.

UV Printing

UV-cured ink is jetted directly onto the product and cured instantly under ultraviolet light. Full-color, photographic-quality artwork with hard edges and no dot gain.

Best for

Multi-color logos, gradients, photographs and exact brand-color matching.

Color

Full color, including white ink on dark substrates.

Artwork requirements

  • Nothing is produced before you approve a proof in writing. That is a hard rule, not a courtesy.
  • Send vector if you have it. A .ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg scales to any imprint without softening.
  • Name the PMS values for anything that has to match a brand standard; screen color is not a reliable reference.
  • Outline your fonts before sending. It removes the most common cause of a proof coming back wrong.
  • We send a digital proof for written approval before production starts. Nothing goes on a machine until you sign it off.

Common uses

Service awardsService awards is where this earns its cost, and where buyers re-order it.
Donor recognitionSpecified regularly for donor recognition. The imprint area at 10 in x 9 in is sized for exactly that job.
Sponsor and partner recognitionBuilt for sponsor and partner recognition. That is the use case the format was designed around, not one retrofitted to it.
Internal contests and incentivesA tangible prize outperforms a gift card for exactly the reason you would expect. It stays on the desk.
Community and civic eventsLocal sponsorships and volunteer thanks, where visible presence matters more than volume.
Safety and quality milestonesMarking a record that took every person on the floor to achieve, with something they can point at.
Event and conference giftingHanded to qualified conversations rather than to everyone, so the spend goes where the pipeline is.
Remote team welcome kitsShipped to a home address, which for a distributed team is the only physical touch the company gets.

Where this works best

The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.

1

Employee Recognition & Service Awards

Recognition fails when the object does not match the words. If you are marking five or ten years of someone's working life, the piece has to carry weight. Literally and otherwise. Personalization with the individual's name is what converts a company gift into a personal keepsake, and it is the single highest-leverage decision in a recognition program. An imprint area of 10 in x 9 in is enough for a logo and a line of text without crowding. A centrepiece, not a run. Expect it on display for a decade.

2

Nonprofit & Fundraising

Every pound spent on a donor gift is a pound not spent on the mission, so the gift has to earn it. Donors read the gift as a statement about stewardship. Something visibly expensive can cost you more in confidence than it earns in goodwill, which is why restraint and a personal inscription usually outperform scale in this sector. The piece the room looks at. Price it as an event cost, not merchandise.

3

Education, Schools & Universities

Education buys in waves: orientation, homecoming, graduation, staff appreciation. Student-facing items live rough. They go in backpacks, get left outdoors and are rarely cleaned, so durability matters more than finish. Faculty and donor gifting is the opposite problem and deserves an entirely separate specification. This is the one people stand next to in the photograph.

4

Government, Military & First Responders

This segment is precise about protocol and unforgiving about quality. Challenge coins, unit recognition, retirement and commendation pieces all carry established conventions. Sourcing compliance and documented lead times usually matter as much as the item itself. Minimum order is a single piece, which suits how this segment tends to buy. Reserved for a milestone big enough to justify the line item on its own.

5

Faith & Community Organizations

Faith communities give to mark moments rather than to advertise. These pieces are given once and kept for a lifetime, so the failure mode is not looking cheap but dating badly. Restrained typography and no year-specific styling means the piece still reads well in twenty years. Wall-mounted recognition stays visible to everyone who walks past, not just the recipient. At $120.75 before breaks this is a once-a-year piece.

6

Sports Leagues, Tournaments & Clubs

Sport needs volume, deadlines and a clear hierarchy of awards. The order arrives before the results do, which means engraving strategy is the real decision. Generic plates with a separate engraved insert let you produce early and personalize late, and that is usually the difference between hitting the date and missing it. Laser engraving burns directly into the grain for a permanent mark. Expect slight tonal variation between pieces. Flagship recognition. One or two of these, not a programme.

What do buyers ask about PTP3?

How long does production take?

Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit. The clock starts when you approve the proof, not when you place the order. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing. A rush is quoted per job, with the date confirmed in writing before you pay.

What if the artwork does not fit the imprint area?

The personalization area on PTP3 is 10 in x 9 in. If your mark does not sit well in that shape we redraw or re-proportion it and show you the result on the proof before anything is produced. Engraving is charged on the share of the area your artwork covers, so a smaller mark costs less.

Is there a setup charge?

There is no setup charge, ever. Art preparation, machine setup and the proof are part of the price on this page. Engraving is a separate line, shown per quantity in the cost table on this page, so the all-in figure is visible before checkout. Ground freight is free on orders over $250.

Can I order more later and have them match?

Re-orders reproduce rather than reinterpret. We keep the approved artwork on file against the item number, so a re-order runs from the same file. On natural materials the base itself can shift a little between batches, so tell us if an exact match matters. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.

Do you ship to multiple addresses?

Yes, through a quote. Card checkout ships one order to one address, so for a split run send the address list with a quote request and we confirm the freight for every destination in writing before you pay. The artwork is proofed once and applied across the whole run. Ground freight is free on orders over $250.

What does it actually cost at quantity?

Most orders land near 48-95, which prices at $96.60 a piece. The published ladder on PTP3 runs from $120.75 a piece at 1-11 down to $74.86 at 500+, about 38% less per piece. Engraving is a separate line, shown per quantity in the cost table on this page, so the all-in figure is visible before checkout.

Do you keep this item in stock?

Yes. The warehouse shows 119 of PTP3 in stock as of the last hourly sync. If a color is short we say so the day you order rather than the week before the deadline. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.

What is the minimum order for PTP3?

There is no minimum beyond one piece on PTP3. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+. The price per piece only goes down as the quantity rises. The published ladder on PTP3 runs from $120.75 a piece at 1-11 down to $74.86 at 500+, about 38% less per piece.
