What is the 12" x 24" x .045" Gloss White ChromaLuxe Aluminum?
A working photo panel. Anodised aluminum, light and corrosion-resistant. It measures 12" x 24" x .045". This is the gloss white colorway.
Aluminum gives you a metal look and metal durability at a fraction of the weight, and it matters when you are shipping several hundred units. That is the difference between something kept and something replaced.
The image is fused into the surface rather than printed on top, so it will not yellow, peel or scratch off the way a mounted print does. That is why these outlast framed photography on a lobby wall. On this substrate specifically: laser engraving cuts through the anodised layer to bright metal. Sublimation-coated aluminum also accepts full-color photographic printing.
Executive tier, where individual personalization is expected rather than optional. Budget it against specific relationships, not against a headcount. Concretely: $90.75 each at 1-11, $56.27 at 500+.

Decoration options
The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 10 in x 10 in.
Laser Engraving
A focused laser removes the surface layer to expose the substrate beneath. A permanent, high-contrast, single-color mark with no ink involved.
Logos, names, dates and fine text. The default choice when the mark has to outlive the campaign.
Single color: the natural color of the material under the surface.
Dye Sublimation
Heat converts solid dye to gas, which bonds into a polyester coating or ceramic glaze. Full-color artwork embedded in the surface rather than sitting on top of it.
Full-wrap photographic decoration on mugs, coated drinkware and coated metal.
Full color. Cannot print white. The substrate supplies white.
UV Printing
UV-cured ink is jetted directly onto the product and cured instantly under ultraviolet light. Full-color, photographic-quality artwork with hard edges and no dot gain.
Multi-color logos, gradients, photographs and exact brand-color matching.
Full color, including white ink on dark substrates.
Artwork requirements
- Vector artwork (.ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg) reproduces best at every size and is what we ask for first.
- If the logo is only available as a bitmap, we need it at 300 dpi or better at final size, ideally on a transparent background.
- Send the file you have, even if it is imperfect. We will tell you honestly whether it will hold up and redraw it if it will not.
- Artwork we redraw stays on file under your item number, so the next order runs from the same corrected file.
- A 300 dpi raster at the actual imprint dimensions will run cleanly. Anything pulled from a web page usually will not.
- Type should be converted to curves or outlines, otherwise a missing font silently substitutes on our end.

Common uses
Where this works best
The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.
Employee Recognition & Service Awards
Recognition fails when the object does not match the words. The presentation matters as much as the piece. An award handed over in a hallway is worth a fraction of the same award presented in front of the team, which means the object should be specified for the moment it will be photographed in, not the shelf it ends on. Decoration holds up in this setting, which is where cheaper substrates fail. Executive tier. Treat the engraving as carefully as the invoice.
Nonprofit & Fundraising
Every pound spent on a donor gift is a pound not spent on the mission, so the gift has to earn it. Volunteer recognition is where the money works hardest. Volunteers give time that would otherwise cost you wages, and the marginal cost of thanking them properly is trivial against what their continued involvement is worth. An imprint area of 10 in x 10 in is enough for a logo and a line of text without crowding. Even at volume it holds $56.27, which tells you what tier this is.
Education, Schools & Universities
Education buys in waves: orientation, homecoming, graduation, staff appreciation. Budgets are tight and quantities are large, which pushes toward mid-tier items ordered in volume. Alumni and donor gifting is the exception: that is where the spend per unit rises sharply, because the return is measured in gifts rather than impressions. Spend it where the relationship is worth more than the invoice.
Healthcare & Senior Living
Healthcare buyers screen for practicality and hygiene before they screen for design. Shift work changes the specification. Items are carried between home, locker and ward, so anything that leaks, breaks or cannot go through a dishwasher gets abandoned within a fortnight regardless of how good it looked at the point of purchase. At $90.75 before breaks this is relationship work, not advertising.
Real Estate & Closing Gifts
A closing gift is a referral instrument, not a thank-you note. Agents re-order what generates conversations, not what photographs well. Track which pieces prompt a referral call and the item list narrows quickly to two or three things worth stocking properly. Minimum order is a single piece, which suits how this segment tends to buy. Reserve it for named recipients: key clients, top performers, long service.
Faith & Community Organizations
Faith communities give to mark moments rather than to advertise. Baptisms, confirmations, ordinations, volunteer milestones and building dedications all call for keepsakes carrying a name and a date. Understated decoration outperforms bold branding almost every time in this segment. The image is fused into the surface rather than printed on top, so it will not yellow, peel or scratch off the way a mounted print does. That is why these outlast framed photography on a lobby wall. This is a shortlist item. Individual personalisation is expected at this level.
Corporate Gifting & Client Appreciation
Client gifting has one job: to be kept. Timing beats budget in this segment. The same gift sent a week after a renewal lands completely differently from one sent in December with four hundred others, because in January it is the only thing on the desk. Buy for the calendar you control rather than the one everybody shares. Laser engraving cuts through the anodised layer to bright metal. Sublimation-coated aluminum also accepts full-color photographic printing. $90.75 before breaks buys something that stays on a desk for years.

What do buyers ask about CLX5623?
Can I order more later and have them match?
Yes. We keep the approved artwork on file against the item number, so a re-order runs from the same file. Material batches can vary slightly on natural materials, which is worth knowing if color matching across orders is critical. The published ladder on CLX5623 runs from $90.75 a piece at 1-11 down to $56.27 at 500+, about 38% less per piece.
Is there a setup charge?
There is no setup charge, ever. Art preparation, machine setup and the proof are part of the price on this page. Engraving is a separate line, shown per quantity in the cost table on this page, so the all-in figure is visible before checkout. Ground freight is free on orders over $250.
Can I get a sample before committing?
Yes: order one piece. CLX5623 sells from a single unit at $90.75, the first rung of its published ladder, so a sample is simply a normal order. A decorated single piece goes through the same proof as a full run.
Do you keep this item in stock?
Yes. The warehouse shows 411 of CLX5623 in stock as of the last hourly sync. If a color is short we say so the day you order rather than the week before the deadline. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.
Do you ship to multiple addresses?
Yes, through a quote. Card checkout ships one order to one address, so for a split run send the address list with a quote request and we confirm the freight for every destination in writing before you pay. The artwork is proofed once and applied across the whole run. Ground freight is free on orders over $250.
How long does production take?
Door to door at standard speed: a day for the proof, 3 to 5 business days in production, then 1 to 5 business days in transit. A rush is quoted per job, with the date confirmed in writing before you pay.
What if the artwork does not fit the imprint area?
The personalization area on CLX5623 is 10 in x 10 in. If your mark does not sit well in that shape we redraw or re-proportion it and show you the result on the proof before anything is produced. Engraving is charged on the share of the area your artwork covers, so a smaller mark costs less.
What is the minimum order for CLX5623?
There is no minimum beyond one piece on CLX5623. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+. The price per piece only goes down as the quantity rises. The published ladder on CLX5623 runs from $90.75 a piece at 1-11 down to $56.27 at 500+, about 38% less per piece.

- Ground freight is free from 12 pieces, which is where this order passes $250.00 of merchandise.
- The personalization area is 10 in by 10 in. Engraving is charged on the share your artwork actually covers, so a smaller logo costs less. Place yours on the product above and the price updates as you size it.
