What is the 16 1/4" x 8 1/4" Rosewood Finish Flag Display Case with Base Attached?

A working plaque. Solid wood with a natural grain and a finished surface. It measures 19"(L) x 9" 3/4" (H) x 4"(W).

Wood carries a warmth that metal and acrylic do not, and that is why it keeps showing up on service awards and retirement pieces where the message is personal rather than corporate. That is the difference between something kept and something replaced.

Wall-mounted recognition stays visible to everyone who walks past, not just the recipient. Laser engraving burns directly into the grain for a permanent mark. Expect slight tonal variation between pieces. The two together are why this item re-orders.

This is a flagship piece. It is bought for the one or two moments a year that genuinely warrant it, and it is expected to be on display for years afterwards. Concretely: $224.25 each at 1-11, $139.04 at 500+.

Decoration options

The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 5 in x 4.88 in.

Laser Engraving

A focused laser removes the surface layer to expose the substrate beneath. A permanent, high-contrast, single-color mark with no ink involved.

Best for

Logos, names, dates and fine text. The default choice when the mark has to outlive the campaign.

Color

Single color: the natural color of the material under the surface.

UV Printing

UV-cured ink is jetted directly onto the product and cured instantly under ultraviolet light. Full-color, photographic-quality artwork with hard edges and no dot gain.

Best for

Multi-color logos, gradients, photographs and exact brand-color matching.

Color

Full color, including white ink on dark substrates.

Artwork requirements

  • Name the PMS values for anything that has to match a brand standard; screen color is not a reliable reference.
  • If brand color accuracy matters, give us the Pantone numbers rather than a screenshot to match.
  • Raster artwork should be at least 300 dpi at the finished imprint size, on a transparent or white background.
  • Outline your fonts before sending. It removes the most common cause of a proof coming back wrong.
  • A 300 dpi raster at the actual imprint dimensions will run cleanly. Anything pulled from a web page usually will not.
  • Vector files are the safe option. They hold their edges whether the mark runs at an inch or a foot.

Where this works best

The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.

1

Sports Leagues, Tournaments & Clubs

Sport needs volume, deadlines and a clear hierarchy of awards. The order arrives before the results do, which means engraving strategy is the real decision. Generic plates with a separate engraved insert let you produce early and personalize late, and that is usually the difference between hitting the date and missing it. Minimum order is a single piece, which suits how this segment tends to buy. $224.25 before breaks: reserved for the moment that warrants it.

2

Employee Recognition & Service Awards

Recognition fails when the object does not match the words. If you are marking five or ten years of someone's working life, the piece has to carry weight. Literally and otherwise. Personalization with the individual's name is what converts a company gift into a personal keepsake, and it is the single highest-leverage decision in a recognition program. Wall-mounted recognition stays visible to everyone who walks past, not just the recipient. Bought for the one occasion a year that genuinely earns it.

3

Nonprofit & Fundraising

Every pound spent on a donor gift is a pound not spent on the mission, so the gift has to earn it. Donors read the gift as a statement about stewardship. Something visibly expensive can cost you more in confidence than it earns in goodwill, which is why restraint and a personal inscription usually outperform scale in this sector. Laser engraving burns directly into the grain for a permanent mark. Expect slight tonal variation between pieces. A centrepiece, not a run. Expect it on display for a decade.

4

Education, Schools & Universities

Education buys in waves: orientation, homecoming, graduation, staff appreciation. Student-facing items live rough. They go in backpacks, get left outdoors and are rarely cleaned, so durability matters more than finish. Faculty and donor gifting is the opposite problem and deserves an entirely separate specification. The plaque format earns its place here on keep-rate rather than headline price. The piece the room looks at. Price it as an event cost, not merchandise.

5

Government, Military & First Responders

This segment is precise about protocol and unforgiving about quality. Challenge coins, unit recognition, retirement and commendation pieces all carry established conventions. Sourcing compliance and documented lead times usually matter as much as the item itself. This is the one people stand next to in the photograph.

6

Faith & Community Organizations

Faith communities give to mark moments rather than to advertise. These pieces are given once and kept for a lifetime, so the failure mode is not looking cheap but dating badly. Restrained typography and no year-specific styling means the piece still reads well in twenty years. Wood carries a warmth that metal and acrylic do not, and that is why it keeps showing up on service awards and retirement pieces where the message is personal rather than corporate.. Reserved for a milestone big enough to justify the line item on its own.

What do buyers ask about RFC15?

Can I order more later and have them match?

Re-orders reproduce rather than reinterpret. We keep the approved artwork on file against the item number, so a re-order runs from the same file. On natural materials the base itself can shift a little between batches, so tell us if an exact match matters. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.

Can I get a sample before committing?

Yes: order one piece. RFC15 sells from a single unit at $224.25, the first rung of its published ladder, so a sample is simply a normal order. A decorated single piece goes through the same proof as a full run.

Do you ship to multiple addresses?

Yes, through a quote. Card checkout ships one order to one address, so for a split run send the address list with a quote request and we confirm the freight for every destination in writing before you pay. The artwork is proofed once and applied across the whole run. Ground freight is free on orders over $250.

Can I mix colors or sizes to reach a quantity break?

Yes, provided the artwork stays the same across the run. Different artwork is fine as well: it gets its own proof, and setup stays free. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+. The published ladder on RFC15 runs from $224.25 a piece at 1-11 down to $139.04 at 500+, about 38% less per piece.

What artwork do you need from me?

Vector artwork is ideal (.ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg) with all type converted to outlines. High-resolution raster at 300 dpi or better also works, and a logo saved from a website is worth sending anyway. We check it against the 5 in x 4.88 in personalization area and tell you before you pay whether it holds up at that size.

What if the artwork does not fit the imprint area?

The personalization area on RFC15 is 5 in x 4.88 in. If your mark does not sit well in that shape we redraw or re-proportion it and show you the result on the proof before anything is produced. Engraving is charged on the share of the area your artwork covers, so a smaller mark costs less.

How long does production take?

Door to door at standard speed: a day for the proof, 3 to 5 business days in production, then 1 to 5 business days in transit. A rush is quoted per job, with the date confirmed in writing before you pay.

What is the minimum order for RFC15?

RFC15 can be ordered from a single piece. The published ladder on RFC15 runs from $224.25 a piece at 1-11 down to $139.04 at 500+, about 38% less per piece. There is no setup fee at any quantity. The personalization area on RFC15 is 5 in x 4.88 in.
