What is the 3" x 2" Dark Brown Premier Laserable Leatherette Rectangle Patch with Kota Pro Adhesive - Creekside Collection?

This patch is made from laserable polyurethane leatherette bonded to a contrasting core. It measures 3" (L) x 2" (H) x 1.57mm thick. This is the dark brown colorway.

Worth knowing before you order: leatherette solves the two problems real leather has as a promotional substrate: it is consistent from unit to unit, so a hundred pieces look like a hundred of the same piece, and it does not absorb moisture, stain, or fray at cut edges..

This is one of the highest-contrast decoration surfaces in the industry. The laser removes the top layer and reveals the core color underneath, so the logo appears as a crisp, permanent, two-tone mark with no ink and nothing to wear off. Patches let one apparel blank serve many teams, departments or locations.

This is table-stock: priced to be handed out freely. The metric that matters is how many you can put into circulation, not what each one felt like to give. Concretely: $3.12 each at 1-11, $1.93 at 500+.

Decoration options

The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 1.8 in x 1 in.

Laser Engraving

A focused laser removes the surface layer to expose the substrate beneath. A permanent, high-contrast, single-color mark with no ink involved.

Best for

Logos, names, dates and fine text. The default choice when the mark has to outlive the campaign.

Color

Single color: the natural color of the material under the surface.

Debossing

A heated die presses the artwork into the material. A subtle, tactile, recessed impression in the surface color.

Best for

Leather and leatherette gifts where understatement is the point.

Color

Blind (no color) or foil-filled.

UV Printing

UV-cured ink is jetted directly onto the product and cured instantly under ultraviolet light. Full-color, photographic-quality artwork with hard edges and no dot gain.

Best for

Multi-color logos, gradients, photographs and exact brand-color matching.

Color

Full color, including white ink on dark substrates.

Artwork requirements

  • Send vector if you have it. A .ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg scales to any imprint without softening.
  • Supply Pantone (PMS) references for any color that has to match exactly.
  • Vector files are the safe option. They hold their edges whether the mark runs at an inch or a foot.
  • Raster artwork should be at least 300 dpi at the finished imprint size, on a transparent or white background.
  • If the logo is only available as a bitmap, we need it at 300 dpi or better at final size, ideally on a transparent background.
  • Type should be converted to curves or outlines, otherwise a missing font silently substitutes on our end.

Common uses

Uniform programsUniform programs is where this earns its cost, and where buyers re-order it.
Team and club identityWorks well for team and club identity, where the patch format does what a printed handout cannot.
Apparel customisationSpecified regularly for apparel customisation. The imprint area at 1.8 in x 1 in is sized for exactly that job.
Customer loyalty tiersA physical marker of status that an account dashboard cannot replicate.
Employee milestonesAnniversaries, promotions and retirements: the moments where a personalized object does what an email cannot.
Booth and trade show handoutsThe item that gives someone a reason to stop walking, and a reason to remember which booth it came from.
Remote team welcome kitsShipped to a home address, which for a distributed team is the only physical touch the company gets.
Service anniversariesFive, ten and twenty years. The object marks the span in a way a announcement never manages.

Where this works best

The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.

1

Franchise & Multi-Location Brands

The hard problem in multi-location branding is consistency, not creativity. A single approved item list, locked artwork and a repeatable re-order path stop forty locations producing forty versions of the logo. Stocked programs with fixed pricing are what make that governable. Cheap enough to over-order slightly, which is the right call for a table.

2

Construction, Trades & Field Services

On a job site, an item survives or it disappears. Crews compare what they were given. Handing out two grades of the same item across a site causes more friction than giving nothing at all, so buy one specification deep rather than two shallow. Minimum order is a single piece, which suits how this segment tends to buy. At this price the risk is under-ordering, not over-ordering.

3

Government, Military & First Responders

This segment is precise about protocol and unforgiving about quality. Protocol governs the object. Placement of insignia, order of precedence on a plaque and the wording of a commendation are conventions rather than preferences, and getting them wrong is the one error this segment does not overlook. Patches let one apparel blank serve many teams, departments or locations. Down to $1.93 at volume, which is where this stops being a cost.

4

Sports Leagues, Tournaments & Clubs

Sport needs volume, deadlines and a clear hierarchy of awards. Participation medals for the field, distinct pieces for placegetters, and something with real presence for the overall champion. Production timing is usually the binding constraint, so lock artwork well before the event rather than after the results are known. This is one of the highest-contrast decoration surfaces in the industry. The laser removes the top layer and reveals the core color underneath, so the logo appears as a crisp, permanent, two-tone mark with no ink and nothing to wear off. Buy for coverage. The arithmetic rewards it and the budget will not notice.

What do buyers ask about PTH189?

What artwork do you need from me?

The personalization area on PTH189 is 1.8 in x 1 in, and we redraw or re-proportion anything that will not survive it. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing.

The personalization area on PTH189 is 1.8 in x 1 in. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing.

Can I mix colors or sizes to reach a quantity break?

Yes, provided the artwork stays the same across the run. Different artwork is fine as well: it gets its own proof, and setup stays free. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+. The published ladder on PTH189 runs from $3.12 a piece at 1-11 down to $1.93 at 500+, about 38% less per piece.

Is there a setup charge?

There is no setup charge, ever. Art preparation, machine setup and the proof are part of the price on this page. Engraving is a separate line, shown per quantity in the cost table on this page, so the all-in figure is visible before checkout. Ground freight is free on orders over $250.

Can you work to a fixed in-hand date?

Yes. Give us the in-hand date and checkout tells you immediately whether standard production makes it. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit. A rush is quoted per job, with the date confirmed in writing before you pay.

Can I order more later and have them match?
