What is the 6" x 6" Airflyte Series Jade Acrylic with Gold-Plated Brass Base and 2 1/2" CAM Insert?

A working acrylic award. Cast acrylic with flame-polished edges. It measures 6" x 6" x 3/16" thick. This is the gold colorway.

Acrylic is roughly half the weight of glass and dramatically harder to break, which matters more than people expect. It survives shipping to a remote office, it survives a trade show crate, and it survives being knocked off a desk.

Acrylic takes full-color UV printing beautifully, so unlike crystal it can reproduce a logo in exact brand colors rather than as a frosted silhouette. Laser engraving gives the frosted look when that is preferred. Acrylic is the only award substrate that reproduces a full-color logo cleanly and survives being posted to a home address.

At this level the piece is doing relationship work, not advertising work. Reserve it for named recipients, key clients, top performers, long-service milestones, and personalize it individually. Concretely: $100.80 each at 1-11, $62.50 at 500+.

Decoration options

The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 4.5 in x 4.5 in.

UV Printing

UV-cured ink is jetted directly onto the product and cured instantly under ultraviolet light. Full-color, photographic-quality artwork with hard edges and no dot gain.

Best for

Multi-color logos, gradients, photographs and exact brand-color matching.

Color

Full color, including white ink on dark substrates.

Laser Engraving

A focused laser removes the surface layer to expose the substrate beneath. A permanent, high-contrast, single-color mark with no ink involved.

Best for

Logos, names, dates and fine text. The default choice when the mark has to outlive the campaign.

Color

Single color: the natural color of the material under the surface.

Laser Cutting

The laser cuts entirely through the sheet to a custom outline. A shape cut to your logo or silhouette rather than a stock outline.

Best for

Acrylic awards and signage that should not look off-the-shelf.

Color

Material color.

Artwork requirements

  • Raster artwork should be at least 300 dpi at the finished imprint size, on a transparent or white background.
  • Convert all type to outlines so fonts do not substitute in production.
  • Vector files are the safe option. They hold their edges whether the mark runs at an inch or a foot.
  • We send a digital proof for written approval before production starts. Nothing goes on a machine until you sign it off.
  • A 300 dpi raster at the actual imprint dimensions will run cleanly. Anything pulled from a web page usually will not.

Common uses

Full-color brand awardsSpecified regularly for full-color brand awards. The imprint area at 4.5 in x 4.5 in is sized for exactly that job.
Sales recognitionSales recognition is where this earns its cost, and where buyers re-order it.
Remote-team shippingBuilt for remote-team shipping. That is the use case the format was designed around, not one retrofitted to it.
Internal contests and incentivesA tangible prize outperforms a gift card for exactly the reason you would expect. It stays on the desk.
Community and civic eventsLocal sponsorships and volunteer thanks, where visible presence matters more than volume.
Safety and quality milestonesMarking a record that took every person on the floor to achieve, with something they can point at.
Executive and board giftingShort lists, individual personalization, and a piece that survives scrutiny.

Where this works best

The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.

1

Technology, SaaS & Startups

Distributed teams have no office to carry the culture, so the objects have to. Shipping is the hidden cost and the hidden failure. An item that arrives damaged or takes three weeks to reach a remote hire does the opposite of what it was bought for, so pack weight and carrier reliability belong in the specification. Acrylic is the only award substrate that reproduces a full-color logo cleanly and survives being posted to a home address. At this price the recipient list should fit on one page.

2

Employee Recognition & Service Awards

Recognition fails when the object does not match the words. Consistency is what makes a recognition program credible. If a ten year award looks better this year than it did last year, everyone who got last year's version notices. Lock the specification and the supplier, and treat the item list as something you change deliberately rather than annually. Acrylic takes full-color UV printing beautifully, so unlike crystal it can reproduce a logo in exact brand colors rather than as a frosted silhouette. Laser engraving gives the frosted look when that is preferred. Executive tier. Treat the engraving as carefully as the invoice.

3

Education, Schools & Universities

Education buys in waves: orientation, homecoming, graduation, staff appreciation. Budgets are tight and quantities are large, which pushes toward mid-tier items ordered in volume. Alumni and donor gifting is the exception: that is where the spend per unit rises sharply, because the return is measured in gifts rather than impressions. The acrylic award format earns its place here on keep-rate rather than headline price. Even at volume it holds $62.50, which tells you what tier this is.

4

Franchise & Multi-Location Brands

The hard problem in multi-location branding is consistency, not creativity. Local operators will source their own if the approved path is slower or costlier than the alternative. The way to hold brand consistency is to make the compliant option the easy one, with stocked items and fixed pricing. Spend it where the relationship is worth more than the invoice.

5

Sports Leagues, Tournaments & Clubs

Sport needs volume, deadlines and a clear hierarchy of awards. The order arrives before the results do, which means engraving strategy is the real decision. Generic plates with a separate engraved insert let you produce early and personalize late, and that is usually the difference between hitting the date and missing it. Acrylic is roughly half the weight of glass and dramatically harder to break, which matters more than people expect. At $100.80 before breaks this is relationship work, not advertising.

6

Nonprofit & Fundraising

Every pound spent on a donor gift is a pound not spent on the mission, so the gift has to earn it. Recognition pieces for major donors and board members are the clearest win: they are relatively few, they are highly personal, and they materially affect renewal. For event merchandise, price the item to sell rather than to give. Reserve it for named recipients: key clients, top performers, long service.
