What is the Blue Sail Art Glass?
A working glass award. Annealed glass with polished edges and a clear, even body. It measures 14 1/4". This is the blue colorway.
Glass gives you most of the visual authority of crystal at a materially lower cost, which is what makes it the practical choice when you are recognizing a whole team rather than one person.
Glass delivers most of the presence of crystal at a price that lets you recognize a whole team. On this substrate specifically: deep etch sand carving frosts the surface for a bright white mark that photographs well. Laser engraving handles finer detail.
A centerpiece rather than a program. Budget it as an event cost, because that is what it is, and expect it to be photographed. Concretely: $198.00 each at 1-11, $122.76 at 500+.

Decoration options
The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 4 in x 4 in.
Sand Carving
Abrasive is blasted through a cut mask to cut into the surface of the glass or crystal. A deep, frosted, dimensional mark you can feel with a fingertip.
Crystal and glass awards where depth and presence matter more than color.
Frosted white, optionally color-filled.
Laser Engraving
A focused laser removes the surface layer to expose the substrate beneath. A permanent, high-contrast, single-color mark with no ink involved.
Logos, names, dates and fine text. The default choice when the mark has to outlive the campaign.
Single color: the natural color of the material under the surface.
UV Printing
UV-cured ink is jetted directly onto the product and cured instantly under ultraviolet light. Full-color, photographic-quality artwork with hard edges and no dot gain.
Multi-color logos, gradients, photographs and exact brand-color matching.
Full color, including white ink on dark substrates.
Artwork requirements
- Send vector if you have it. A .ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg scales to any imprint without softening.
- A digital proof comes back to you first, every time. Production starts on your written approval and not before.
- If brand color accuracy matters, give us the Pantone numbers rather than a screenshot to match.
- Raster artwork should be at least 300 dpi at the finished imprint size, on a transparent or white background.
- Vector artwork (.ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg) reproduces best at every size and is what we ask for first.
- A 300 dpi raster at the actual imprint dimensions will run cleanly. Anything pulled from a web page usually will not.

Common uses
Where this works best
The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.
Corporate Gifting & Client Appreciation
Client gifting has one job: to be kept. A gift that lands on a client desk and stays there keeps working long after the meeting that prompted it. That argues for fewer, better pieces rather than a large volume of disposables, and for decoration that will still look intentional in two years. $198.00 before breaks: reserved for the moment that warrants it.
Sports Leagues, Tournaments & Clubs
Sport needs volume, deadlines and a clear hierarchy of awards. Awards are read as a hierarchy whether or not you intended one. If the participation piece and the champion piece look similar, the champion feels short-changed, and that is remembered longer than the result. Decoration holds up in this setting, which is where cheaper substrates fail. Bought for the one occasion a year that genuinely earns it.
Employee Recognition & Service Awards
Recognition fails when the object does not match the words. Consistency is what makes a recognition program credible. If a ten year award looks better this year than it did last year, everyone who got last year's version notices. Lock the specification and the supplier, and treat the item list as something you change deliberately rather than annually. An imprint area of 4 in x 4 in is enough for a logo and a line of text without crowding. A centrepiece, not a run. Expect it on display for a decade.
Education, Schools & Universities
Education buys in waves: orientation, homecoming, graduation, staff appreciation. Budgets are tight and quantities are large, which pushes toward mid-tier items ordered in volume. Alumni and donor gifting is the exception: that is where the spend per unit rises sharply, because the return is measured in gifts rather than impressions. The piece the room looks at. Price it as an event cost, not merchandise.
Nonprofit & Fundraising
Every pound spent on a donor gift is a pound not spent on the mission, so the gift has to earn it. Donors read the gift as a statement about stewardship. Something visibly expensive can cost you more in confidence than it earns in goodwill, which is why restraint and a personal inscription usually outperform scale in this sector. This is the one people stand next to in the photograph.

What do buyers ask about AGS03?
Can I order more later and have them match?
Yes. We keep the approved artwork on file against the item number, so a re-order runs from the same file. Material batches can vary slightly on natural materials, which is worth knowing if color matching across orders is critical. The published ladder on AGS03 runs from $198.00 a piece at 1-11 down to $122.76 at 500+, about 38% less per piece.
Can I mix colors or sizes to reach a quantity break?
Yes, provided the artwork stays the same across the run. Different artwork is fine as well: it gets its own proof, and setup stays free. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+. The published ladder on AGS03 runs from $198.00 a piece at 1-11 down to $122.76 at 500+, about 38% less per piece.
Do you keep this item in stock?
Yes. The warehouse shows 25 of AGS03 in stock as of the last hourly sync. If a color is short we say so the day you order rather than the week before the deadline. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.
What happens if something arrives damaged?
We replace damaged pieces. Send a photograph and the item number within 10 days of delivery and we handle the carrier claim ourselves. If the box arrives visibly damaged, write that on the freight bill before signing. The replacement runs from the artwork you already approved, so it matches the rest of the order.
What if the artwork does not fit the imprint area?
The personalization area on AGS03 is 4 in x 4 in. If your mark does not sit well in that shape we redraw or re-proportion it and show you the result on the proof before anything is produced. Engraving is charged on the share of the area your artwork covers, so a smaller mark costs less.
How should this be cared for?
Hand wash recommended. Avoid thermal shock. AGS03 measures 14 1/4" and is made of glass. Glass gives you most of the visual authority of crystal at a materially lower cost, which is what makes it the practical choice when you are recognizing a whole team rather than one person.
What artwork do you need from me?
Send vector if it exists, raster at 300 dpi if it does not, and whatever you have if neither. The personalization area on AGS03 is 4 in x 4 in, and we redraw or re-proportion anything that will not survive it. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing.
