What is the Cheer High Relief Medal-Bronze?

The Cheer High Relief Medal-Bronze is what most buyers mean when they ask for a medal that will not look cheap in six months. It measures 2". This is the bronze colorway.

Worth knowing before you order: casting is what allows shapes, figures, sport-specific sculpts, dimensional forms, that simply cannot be cut from crystal or metal at a comparable price. It is the reason resin dominates youth sport and participation awards.

Medals scale to hundreds of recipients at a cost per person that no other award form matches. Decoration is applied to an engraving plate or a printed plate fitted to the base, not to the sculpt itself.

This is table-stock: priced to be handed out freely. The metric that matters is how many you can put into circulation, not what each one felt like to give. Concretely: $2.90 each at 1-11, $1.80 at 500+.

Artwork requirements

  • A 300 dpi raster at the actual imprint dimensions will run cleanly. Anything pulled from a web page usually will not.
  • Type should be converted to curves or outlines, otherwise a missing font silently substitutes on our end.
  • We send a digital proof for written approval before production starts. Nothing goes on a machine until you sign it off.
  • Vector artwork (.ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg) reproduces best at every size and is what we ask for first.
  • If the logo is only available as a bitmap, we need it at 300 dpi or better at final size, ideally on a transparent background.
  • Artwork we redraw stays on file under your item number, so the next order runs from the same corrected file.

Common uses

Races and tournamentsRaces and tournaments is where this earns its cost, and where buyers re-order it.
School achievementA natural fit for school achievement, which is one of the settings this medal was specified for.
Participation recognitionWorks well for participation recognition, where the medal format does what a printed handout cannot.
Sponsorship and partner thanksGiven to the people who funded or enabled the work, in a form they can keep visible.
Recruiting and onboardingIncluded in offer packs and first-day kits, where the object is doing culture work from the very first hour.
Internal contests and incentivesA tangible prize outperforms a gift card for exactly the reason you would expect. It stays on the desk.
Team and department awardsRecognizing a group without the cost or ceremony of individual crystal for every person.

Where this works best

The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.

1

Education, Schools & Universities

Education buys in waves: orientation, homecoming, graduation, staff appreciation. Student-facing items live rough. They go in backpacks, get left outdoors and are rarely cleaned, so durability matters more than finish. Faculty and donor gifting is the opposite problem and deserves an entirely separate specification. Minimum order is a single piece, which suits how this segment tends to buy. Volume is the point at $2.90; nobody is auditing this line item.

2

Government, Military & First Responders

This segment is precise about protocol and unforgiving about quality. Challenge coins, unit recognition, retirement and commendation pieces all carry established conventions. Sourcing compliance and documented lead times usually matter as much as the item itself. Medals scale to hundreds of recipients at a cost per person that no other award form matches. Cost per impression is the number that matters here, and it is very low.

3

Nonprofit & Fundraising

Every pound spent on a donor gift is a pound not spent on the mission, so the gift has to earn it. Donors read the gift as a statement about stewardship. Something visibly expensive can cost you more in confidence than it earns in goodwill, which is why restraint and a personal inscription usually outperform scale in this sector. Decoration is applied to an engraving plate or a printed plate fitted to the base, not to the sculpt itself. Cheap enough to over-order slightly, which is the right call for a table.

4

Sports Leagues, Tournaments & Clubs

Sport needs volume, deadlines and a clear hierarchy of awards. The order arrives before the results do, which means engraving strategy is the real decision. Generic plates with a separate engraved insert let you produce early and personalize late, and that is usually the difference between hitting the date and missing it. The medal format earns its place here on keep-rate rather than headline price. At this price the risk is under-ordering, not over-ordering.

What do buyers ask about HR775B?

Is there a setup charge?

No. Setup is free on every order at every quantity. Art preparation, machine setup and your digital proof are built into the price, with nothing added for them later. Engraving is a separate line, shown per quantity in the cost table on this page, so the all-in figure is visible before checkout.

How long does production take?

Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit. The clock starts when you approve the proof, not when you place the order. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing. A rush is quoted per job, with the date confirmed in writing before you pay.

What if the artwork does not fit the imprint area?

The personalization area on HR775B is 1.2 in x 1 in. If your mark does not sit well in that shape we redraw or re-proportion it and show you the result on the proof before anything is produced. Engraving is charged on the share of the area your artwork covers, so a smaller mark costs less.

What happens if something arrives damaged?

Tell us within 10 days of delivery and we replace it. Note any damage on the freight bill before you sign for it, because that is what the carrier claim turns on. Resolving it with the carrier is our job, not yours. The replacement runs from the artwork you already approved, so it matches the rest of the order.

What artwork do you need from me?

Send vector if it exists, raster at 300 dpi if it does not, and whatever you have if neither. The personalization area on HR775B is 1.2 in x 1 in, and we redraw or re-proportion anything that will not survive it. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing.

Do you keep this item in stock?

Yes. The warehouse shows 760 of HR775B in stock as of the last hourly sync. If a color is short we say so the day you order rather than the week before the deadline. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.

How should this be cared for?

Dust with a soft dry cloth. HR775B measures 2" and is made of resin. Casting is what allows shapes, figures, sport-specific sculpts, dimensional forms, that simply cannot be cut from crystal or metal at a comparable price. We keep the approved artwork on file against the item number, so a re-order runs from the same file.

What is the minimum order for HR775B?

There is no minimum beyond one piece on HR775B. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+. The price per piece only goes down as the quantity rises. The published ladder on HR775B runs from $2.90 a piece at 1-11 down to $1.80 at 500+, about 38% less per piece.
