What is the Glass Figure with Star and Black Base?

A working trophy. Annealed glass with polished edges and a clear, even body. It measures 12". This is the black colorway.

Worth knowing before you order: glass gives you most of the visual authority of crystal at a materially lower cost, which is what makes it the practical choice when you are recognizing a whole team rather than one person..

Trophies photograph well, that matters when the award is going to be posted before it is shelved. Deep etch sand carving frosts the surface for a bright white mark that photographs well. Laser engraving handles finer detail.

Reserved for the occasion that actually earns it. One or two a year, presented properly, and on display for a decade after. Concretely: $163.00 each at 1-11, $101.06 at 500+.

Decoration options

The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 2.8 in x 4 in.

Sand Carving

Abrasive is blasted through a cut mask to cut into the surface of the glass or crystal. A deep, frosted, dimensional mark you can feel with a fingertip.

Best for

Crystal and glass awards where depth and presence matter more than color.

Color

Frosted white, optionally color-filled.

Laser Engraving

A focused laser removes the surface layer to expose the substrate beneath. A permanent, high-contrast, single-color mark with no ink involved.

Best for

Logos, names, dates and fine text. The default choice when the mark has to outlive the campaign.

Color

Single color: the natural color of the material under the surface.

UV Printing

UV-cured ink is jetted directly onto the product and cured instantly under ultraviolet light. Full-color, photographic-quality artwork with hard edges and no dot gain.

Best for

Multi-color logos, gradients, photographs and exact brand-color matching.

Color

Full color, including white ink on dark substrates.

Artwork requirements

  • A digital proof comes back to you first, every time. Production starts on your written approval and not before.
  • A 300 dpi raster at the actual imprint dimensions will run cleanly. Anything pulled from a web page usually will not.
  • We send a digital proof for written approval before production starts. Nothing goes on a machine until you sign it off.
  • If the logo is only available as a bitmap, we need it at 300 dpi or better at final size, ideally on a transparent background.
  • Outline your fonts before sending. It removes the most common cause of a proof coming back wrong.

Common uses

Sport and league awardsBuilt for sport and league awards. That is the use case the format was designed around, not one retrofitted to it.
CompetitionsSpecified regularly for competitions. The imprint area at 2.8 in x 4 in is sized for exactly that job.
Internal contestsWorks well for internal contests, where the trophy format does what a printed handout cannot.
Sponsorship and partner thanksGiven to the people who funded or enabled the work, in a form they can keep visible.
Client thank-you programsSent after a renewal, a referral or a project close, when the relationship is warm and the gesture will land.
Service anniversariesFive, ten and twenty years. The object marks the span in a way a announcement never manages.
Team and department awardsRecognizing a group without the cost or ceremony of individual crystal for every person.
Employee milestonesAnniversaries, promotions and retirements: the moments where a personalized object does what an email cannot.

Where this works best

The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.

1

Employee Recognition & Service Awards

Recognition fails when the object does not match the words. The presentation matters as much as the piece. An award handed over in a hallway is worth a fraction of the same award presented in front of the team, which means the object should be specified for the moment it will be photographed in, not the shelf it ends on. Deep etch sand carving frosts the surface for a bright white mark that photographs well. Laser engraving handles finer detail. Reserved for a milestone big enough to justify the line item on its own.

2

Weddings, Reunions & Milestone Events

Personal events are the one segment where the recipient genuinely wants the item personalized. Guests keep what they can use and discard what merely commemorates. An item that works on an ordinary Tuesday will outlive the event by years; one that only makes sense on the day will not survive the drive home. The trophy format earns its place here on keep-rate rather than headline price. At $163.00 before breaks this is a once-a-year piece.

3

Sports Leagues, Tournaments & Clubs

Sport needs volume, deadlines and a clear hierarchy of awards. Participation medals for the field, distinct pieces for placegetters, and something with real presence for the overall champion. Production timing is usually the binding constraint, so lock artwork well before the event rather than after the results are known. Flagship recognition. One or two of these, not a programme.

4

Education, Schools & Universities

Education buys in waves: orientation, homecoming, graduation, staff appreciation. Departments buy separately even when the brand is shared, which is how a university ends up with nine versions of its own crest. A single approved item list with locked artwork solves more than any individual purchasing decision will. Glass gives you most of the visual authority of crystal at a materially lower cost, which is what makes it the practical choice when you are recognizing a whole team rather than one person.. This is the award people photograph. Budget it as a single line.

What do buyers ask about AGS63?

Can I get a sample before committing?

Yes: order one piece. AGS63 sells from a single unit at $163.00, the first rung of its published ladder, so a sample is simply a normal order. A decorated single piece goes through the same proof as a full run.

What if the artwork does not fit the imprint area?

The personalization area on AGS63 is 2.8 in x 4 in. If your mark does not sit well in that shape we redraw or re-proportion it and show you the result on the proof before anything is produced. Engraving is charged on the share of the area your artwork covers, so a smaller mark costs less.

What happens if something arrives damaged?

We replace damaged pieces. Send a photograph and the item number within 10 days of delivery and we handle the carrier claim ourselves. If the box arrives visibly damaged, write that on the freight bill before signing. The replacement runs from the artwork you already approved, so it matches the rest of the order.

Can you work to a fixed in-hand date?

Yes. Give us the in-hand date and checkout tells you immediately whether standard production makes it. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit. A rush is quoted per job, with the date confirmed in writing before you pay.

Do you keep this item in stock?

Yes. The warehouse shows -5 of AGS63 in stock as of the last hourly sync. If a color is short we say so the day you order rather than the week before the deadline. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.

Do you ship to multiple addresses?

Yes, through a quote. Card checkout ships one order to one address, so for a split run send the address list with a quote request and we confirm the freight for every destination in writing before you pay. The artwork is proofed once and applied across the whole run. Ground freight is free on orders over $250.

Can I see a proof before you produce the order?

Always, and we do not start without written approval. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing. Once approved, the proof becomes the specification for the run, so check the spelling and the placement carefully. The personalization area on AGS63 is 2.8 in x 4 in.

What is the minimum order for AGS63?

AGS63 can be ordered from a single piece. The published ladder on AGS63 runs from $163.00 a piece at 1-11 down to $101.06 at 500+, about 38% less per piece. There is no setup fee at any quantity. The personalization area on AGS63 is 2.8 in x 4 in.
