What is the Green Certificate Holder with Clear Plastic Cover?

The Green Certificate Holder with Clear Plastic Cover is what most buyers mean when they ask for a plaque that will not look cheap in six months. It measures 13 1/4" x 10 3/4". This is the green colorway, one of 2 in the range.

Plastic is the value option: light, unbreakable and the lowest cost per impression in most giveaway programs.

Wall-mounted recognition stays visible to everyone who walks past, not just the recipient. On this substrate specifically: pad printing and screen printing are standard; some substrates accept UV printing.

The middle of the range, and the part of it that does the most work. Good enough that people keep it, cheap enough that you can cover an entire department. Concretely: $19.00 each at 1-11, $11.78 at 500+.

Decoration options

The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 10 in x 9.25 in.

Pad Printing

A silicone pad lifts ink from an etched plate and transfers it to the product. Clean printing on curved and irregular surfaces.

Best for

Pens, plastics and small compound-curved items.

Color

Spot colors.

Screen Printing

Ink is pushed through a mesh stencil, one screen per color. Dense, opaque color that holds up to washing and handling.

Best for

Bags, apparel and high-volume runs.

Color

Spot colors, typically up to 4.

UV Printing

UV-cured ink is jetted directly onto the product and cured instantly under ultraviolet light. Full-color, photographic-quality artwork with hard edges and no dot gain.

Best for

Multi-color logos, gradients, photographs and exact brand-color matching.

Color

Full color, including white ink on dark substrates.

Artwork requirements

  • Nothing is produced before you approve a proof in writing. That is a hard rule, not a courtesy.
  • Outline your fonts before sending. It removes the most common cause of a proof coming back wrong.
  • Convert all type to outlines so fonts do not substitute in production.
  • Send the file you have, even if it is imperfect. We will tell you honestly whether it will hold up and redraw it if it will not.
  • If the logo is only available as a bitmap, we need it at 300 dpi or better at final size, ideally on a transparent background.
  • Send vector if you have it. A .ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg scales to any imprint without softening.

Common uses

Service awardsA natural fit for service awards, which is one of the settings this plaque was specified for.
Donor recognitionBuilt for donor recognition. That is the use case the format was designed around, not one retrofitted to it.
Sponsor and partner recognitionWorks well for sponsor and partner recognition, where the plaque format does what a printed handout cannot.
Recruiting and onboardingIncluded in offer packs and first-day kits, where the object is doing culture work from the very first hour.
Service anniversariesFive, ten and twenty years. The object marks the span in a way a announcement never manages.
Community and civic eventsLocal sponsorships and volunteer thanks, where visible presence matters more than volume.
Employee milestonesAnniversaries, promotions and retirements: the moments where a personalized object does what an email cannot.
Internal contests and incentivesA tangible prize outperforms a gift card for exactly the reason you would expect. It stays on the desk.

Where this works best

The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.

1

Sports Leagues, Tournaments & Clubs

Sport needs volume, deadlines and a clear hierarchy of awards. Participation medals for the field, distinct pieces for placegetters, and something with real presence for the overall champion. Production timing is usually the binding constraint, so lock artwork well before the event rather than after the results are known. Roughly 38% comes off between one piece and a full run.

2

Employee Recognition & Service Awards

Recognition fails when the object does not match the words. The presentation matters as much as the piece. An award handed over in a hallway is worth a fraction of the same award presented in front of the team, which means the object should be specified for the moment it will be photographed in, not the shelf it ends on. Minimum order is a single piece, which suits how this segment tends to buy. At $19.00 before breaks this is the tier most programmes should live in.

3

Nonprofit & Fundraising

Every pound spent on a donor gift is a pound not spent on the mission, so the gift has to earn it. Volunteer recognition is where the money works hardest. Volunteers give time that would otherwise cost you wages, and the marginal cost of thanking them properly is trivial against what their continued involvement is worth. Wall-mounted recognition stays visible to everyone who walks past, not just the recipient. Good enough to be kept, affordable enough to order in real quantity.

4

Education, Schools & Universities

Education buys in waves: orientation, homecoming, graduation, staff appreciation. Budgets are tight and quantities are large, which pushes toward mid-tier items ordered in volume. Alumni and donor gifting is the exception: that is where the spend per unit rises sharply, because the return is measured in gifts rather than impressions. Pad printing and screen printing are standard; some substrates accept UV printing. This is the sweet spot: real perceived value without a procurement conversation.

5

Government, Military & First Responders

This segment is precise about protocol and unforgiving about quality. Procurement documentation often takes longer than production. Quotes with fixed validity periods, documented lead times and clear line-item pricing move faster through approval than a better price presented informally. The plaque format earns its place here on keep-rate rather than headline price. $19.00 before breaks buys something people keep rather than bin.

6

Faith & Community Organizations

Faith communities give to mark moments rather than to advertise. Congregations buy in small quantities across many occasions rather than in one annual run. That makes minimum order quantity and re-order consistency more important than unit price for almost every purchase in this segment. Deep enough quantity is affordable here, which is unusual at this quality.

What do buyers ask about Z7GRN?

Can I get a sample before committing?

Yes: order one piece. Z7GRN sells from a single unit at $19.00, the first rung of its published ladder, so a sample is simply a normal order. A decorated single piece goes through the same proof as a full run.

How long does production take?

Door to door at standard speed: a day for the proof, 3 to 5 business days in production, then 1 to 5 business days in transit. A rush is quoted per job, with the date confirmed in writing before you pay.

Can I mix colors or sizes to reach a quantity break?

Yes. Z7GRN runs in 2 colors and they combine for pricing, as long as the artwork does not change between them. Different artwork is fine as well: it gets its own proof, and setup stays free. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+.

How should this be cared for?

Top-rack dishwasher safe unless noted. Z7GRN measures 13 1/4" x 10 3/4" and is made of plastic. Plastic is the value option: light, unbreakable and the lowest cost per impression in most giveaway programs. We keep the approved artwork on file against the item number, so a re-order runs from the same file.

What happens if something arrives damaged?

Tell us within 10 days of delivery and we replace it. Note any damage on the freight bill before you sign for it, because that is what the carrier claim turns on. Resolving it with the carrier is our job, not yours. The replacement runs from the artwork you already approved, so it matches the rest of the order.

What if the artwork does not fit the imprint area?

The personalization area on Z7GRN is 10 in x 9.25 in. If your mark does not sit well in that shape we redraw or re-proportion it and show you the result on the proof before anything is produced. Engraving is charged on the share of the area your artwork covers, so a smaller mark costs less.

What does it actually cost at quantity?

Most orders land near 48-95, which prices at $15.20 a piece. The published ladder on Z7GRN runs from $19.00 a piece at 1-11 down to $11.78 at 500+, about 38% less per piece. Engraving is a separate line, shown per quantity in the cost table on this page, so the all-in figure is visible before checkout.

What is the minimum order for Z7GRN?

There is no minimum beyond one piece on Z7GRN. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+. The price per piece only goes down as the quantity rises. The published ladder on Z7GRN runs from $19.00 a piece at 1-11 down to $11.78 at 500+, about 38% less per piece.
