What is the Honor Roll Superstar Medal-Bronze?
A working medal. Cast resin, hand-painted and finished. It measures 2". This is the bronze colorway.
Worth knowing before you order: casting is what allows shapes, figures, sport-specific sculpts, dimensional forms, that simply cannot be cut from crystal or metal at a comparable price. It is the reason resin dominates youth sport and participation awards.
Medals scale to hundreds of recipients at a cost per person that no other award form matches. Decoration is applied to an engraving plate or a printed plate fitted to the base, not to the sculpt itself. The two together are why this item re-orders.
Giveaway pricing, which changes how you should think about quantity. Running short at a booth costs more in missed conversations than the extra units would have cost to print. Concretely: $1.80 each at 1-11, $1.12 at 500+.

Artwork requirements
- Convert all type to outlines so fonts do not substitute in production.
- A digital proof comes back to you first, every time. Production starts on your written approval and not before.
- If brand color accuracy matters, give us the Pantone numbers rather than a screenshot to match.
- Vector artwork (.ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg) reproduces best at every size and is what we ask for first.
- Do not spend a week hunting for the perfect file. Send what exists and we will tell you what is usable.
- Name the PMS values for anything that has to match a brand standard; screen color is not a reliable reference.

Common uses
Races and tournamentsA natural fit for races and tournaments, which is one of the settings this medal was specified for.
School achievementA natural fit for school achievement, which is one of the settings this medal was specified for.
Participation recognitionBuilt for participation recognition. That is the use case the format was designed around, not one retrofitted to it.
Community and civic eventsLocal sponsorships and volunteer thanks, where visible presence matters more than volume.
Booth and trade show handoutsThe item that gives someone a reason to stop walking, and a reason to remember which booth it came from.
Remote team welcome kitsShipped to a home address, which for a distributed team is the only physical touch the company gets.
Safety and quality milestonesMarking a record that took every person on the floor to achieve, with something they can point at.
Where this works best
The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.
1
Government, Military & First Responders
This segment is precise about protocol and unforgiving about quality. Procurement documentation often takes longer than production. Quotes with fixed validity periods, documented lead times and clear line-item pricing move faster through approval than a better price presented informally. An imprint area of 1.2 in x 1 in is enough for a logo and a line of text without crowding. Order deep. At this price the waste of a few extra is cheaper than running short.
2
Nonprofit & Fundraising
Every pound spent on a donor gift is a pound not spent on the mission, so the gift has to earn it. Volunteer recognition is where the money works hardest. Volunteers give time that would otherwise cost you wages, and the marginal cost of thanking them properly is trivial against what their continued involvement is worth. Volume is the point at $1.80; nobody is auditing this line item.
3
Sports Leagues, Tournaments & Clubs
Sport needs volume, deadlines and a clear hierarchy of awards. Participation medals for the field, distinct pieces for placegetters, and something with real presence for the overall champion. Production timing is usually the binding constraint, so lock artwork well before the event rather than after the results are known. Cost per impression is the number that matters here, and it is very low.
4
Education, Schools & Universities
Education buys in waves: orientation, homecoming, graduation, staff appreciation. Departments buy separately even when the brand is shared, which is how a university ends up with nine versions of its own crest. A single approved item list with locked artwork solves more than any individual purchasing decision will. Minimum order is a single piece, which suits how this segment tends to buy. Cheap enough to over-order slightly, which is the right call for a table.

What do buyers ask about SS504B?
How is this decorated?
Laser Engraving (plate) is the primary method on SS504B. The engraving plate is lasered, then fitted to the award. A permanent engraved plate on a cast body. We can also run UV Printing (plate) and Sublimated Plate on this item if the artwork calls for it. The personalization area on SS504B is 1.2 in x 1 in.
What if the artwork does not fit the imprint area?
The personalization area on SS504B is 1.2 in x 1 in. If your mark does not sit well in that shape we redraw or re-proportion it and show you the result on the proof before anything is produced. Engraving is charged on the share of the area your artwork covers, so a smaller mark costs less.
How long does production take?
Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit. The clock starts when you approve the proof, not when you place the order. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing. A rush is quoted per job, with the date confirmed in writing before you pay.
Do you keep this item in stock?
Yes. The warehouse shows 840 of SS504B in stock as of the last hourly sync. If a color is short we say so the day you order rather than the week before the deadline. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.

Can I mix colors or sizes to reach a quantity break?
Yes, provided the artwork stays the same across the run. Different artwork is fine as well: it gets its own proof, and setup stays free.
