What is the Large Crystal Arch with Blue Accent?

A working crystal award. Full-lead crystal with high refractive brilliance and hand-finished edges. It measures 8 1/2". This is the blue colorway.

Lead content increases the refractive index, which is the technical reason lead crystal throws more light and looks noticeably more brilliant under display lighting than ordinary glass. It also adds weight, which is a large part of why crystal reads as a premium award.

Sand carving produces the deepest, most tactile mark. Laser engraving is faster and better suited to fine text and small logos. Crystal is the accepted visual shorthand for "this one mattered", and that is why it remains the default for flagship recognition.

The piece stays on a desk for years, which is the whole return. Choose recipients the way you would choose who to take to dinner. Concretely: $93.00 each at 1-11, $57.66 at 500+.

Decoration options

The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 4 in x 4 in.

Sand Carving

Abrasive is blasted through a cut mask to cut into the surface of the glass or crystal. A deep, frosted, dimensional mark you can feel with a fingertip.

Best for

Crystal and glass awards where depth and presence matter more than color.

Color

Frosted white, optionally color-filled.

Laser Engraving

A focused laser removes the surface layer to expose the substrate beneath. A permanent, high-contrast, single-color mark with no ink involved.

Best for

Logos, names, dates and fine text. The default choice when the mark has to outlive the campaign.

Color

Single color: the natural color of the material under the surface.

Color Fill

Engraved or carved recesses are filled with pigment. A permanent engraved mark that reads in brand color rather than substrate color.

Best for

Metal and crystal where the logo must be recognisably on-brand.

Color

Matched to Pantone where the recess allows.

Artwork requirements

  • Type should be converted to curves or outlines, otherwise a missing font silently substitutes on our end.
  • Do not spend a week hunting for the perfect file. Send what exists and we will tell you what is usable.
  • We send a digital proof for written approval before production starts. Nothing goes on a machine until you sign it off.
  • Supply Pantone (PMS) references for any color that has to match exactly.
  • Send vector if you have it. A .ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg scales to any imprint without softening.
  • Nothing is produced before you approve a proof in writing. That is a hard rule, not a courtesy.

Common uses

Executive recognitionWorks well for executive recognition, where the crystal award format does what a printed handout cannot.
Top performer awardsA natural fit for top performer awards, which is one of the settings this crystal award was specified for.
Partner and board recognitionBuilt for partner and board recognition. That is the use case the format was designed around, not one retrofitted to it.
Sponsorship and partner thanksGiven to the people who funded or enabled the work, in a form they can keep visible.
Team and department awardsRecognizing a group without the cost or ceremony of individual crystal for every person.
Fundraising and donor recognitionThanking the people who gave, in a form that quietly encourages the next person to.
Safety and quality milestonesMarking a record that took every person on the floor to achieve, with something they can point at.
Booth and trade show handoutsThe item that gives someone a reason to stop walking, and a reason to remember which booth it came from.

Where this works best

The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.

1

Government, Military & First Responders

This segment is precise about protocol and unforgiving about quality. Protocol governs the object. Placement of insignia, order of precedence on a plaque and the wording of a commendation are conventions rather than preferences, and getting them wrong is the one error this segment does not overlook. At this price the recipient list should fit on one page.

2

Nonprofit & Fundraising

Every pound spent on a donor gift is a pound not spent on the mission, so the gift has to earn it. Recognition pieces for major donors and board members are the clearest win: they are relatively few, they are highly personal, and they materially affect renewal. For event merchandise, price the item to sell rather than to give. Lead content increases the refractive index, which is the technical reason lead crystal throws more light and looks noticeably more brilliant under display lighting than ordinary glass. Executive tier. Treat the engraving as carefully as the invoice.

3

Technology, SaaS & Startups

Distributed teams have no office to carry the culture, so the objects have to. Shipping is the hidden cost and the hidden failure. An item that arrives damaged or takes three weeks to reach a remote hire does the opposite of what it was bought for, so pack weight and carrier reliability belong in the specification. Even at volume it holds $57.66, which tells you what tier this is.

4

Employee Recognition & Service Awards

Recognition fails when the object does not match the words. Consistency is what makes a recognition program credible. If a ten year award looks better this year than it did last year, everyone who got last year's version notices. Lock the specification and the supplier, and treat the item list as something you change deliberately rather than annually. Decoration holds up in this setting, which is where cheaper substrates fail. Spend it where the relationship is worth more than the invoice.

5

Financial Services, Insurance & Legal

Professional services sell trust, and the gift has to look like the invoice. Understated materials, restrained decoration and genuine quality all read as competence. Anything that looks cheap actively undermines the positioning, so this segment skews toward crystal, leather and solid desk pieces. An imprint area of 4 in x 4 in is enough for a logo and a line of text without crowding. At $93.00 before breaks this is relationship work, not advertising.

What do buyers ask about CRY540L?

What does it actually cost at quantity?

The published ladder on CRY540L runs from $93.00 a piece at 1-11 down to $57.66 at 500+, about 38% less per piece. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+. Engraving is a separate line, shown per quantity in the cost table on this page, so the all-in figure is visible before checkout. Ground freight is free on orders over $250.

Can I order more later and have them match?

Re-orders reproduce rather than reinterpret. We keep the approved artwork on file against the item number, so a re-order runs from the same file. On natural materials the base itself can shift a little between batches, so tell us if an exact match matters. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.

Can I see a proof before you produce the order?

Always, and we do not start without written approval. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing. Once approved, the proof becomes the specification for the run, so check the spelling and the placement carefully. The personalization area on CRY540L is 4 in x 4 in.

Do you ship to multiple addresses?

Yes, through a quote. Card checkout ships one order to one address, so for a split run send the address list with a quote request and we confirm the freight for every destination in writing before you pay. The artwork is proofed once and applied across the whole run. Ground freight is free on orders over $250.

Is there a setup charge?

There is no setup charge, ever. Art preparation, machine setup and the proof are part of the price on this page. Engraving is a separate line, shown per quantity in the cost table on this page, so the all-in figure is visible before checkout. Ground freight is free on orders over $250.

How long does production take?

Door to door at standard speed: a day for the proof, 3 to 5 business days in production, then 1 to 5 business days in transit. A rush is quoted per job, with the date confirmed in writing before you pay.

Do you keep this item in stock?

Yes. The warehouse shows 99 of CRY540L in stock as of the last hourly sync. If a color is short we say so the day you order rather than the week before the deadline. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.

What is the minimum order for CRY540L?

CRY540L can be ordered from a single piece. The published ladder on CRY540L runs from $93.00 a piece at 1-11 down to $57.66 at 500+, about 38% less per piece. There is no setup fee at any quantity. The personalization area on CRY540L is 4 in x 4 in.
