What is the Large Ruby Lunar Acrylic?

A working acrylic award. Cast acrylic with flame-polished edges. It measures 9 1/2".

Acrylic is roughly half the weight of glass and dramatically harder to break, which matters more than people expect. It survives shipping to a remote office, it survives a trade show crate, and it survives being knocked off a desk.

Acrylic is the only award substrate that reproduces a full-color logo cleanly and survives being posted to a home address. On this substrate specifically: acrylic takes full-color UV printing beautifully, so unlike crystal it can reproduce a logo in exact brand colors rather than as a frosted silhouette. Laser engraving gives the frosted look when that is preferred.

Reserved for the occasion that actually earns it. One or two a year, presented properly, and on display for a decade after. Concretely: $132.00 each at 1-11, $81.84 at 500+.

Decoration options

The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 2.48 in x 4 in.

UV Printing

UV-cured ink is jetted directly onto the product and cured instantly under ultraviolet light. Full-color, photographic-quality artwork with hard edges and no dot gain.

Best for

Multi-color logos, gradients, photographs and exact brand-color matching.

Color

Full color, including white ink on dark substrates.

Laser Engraving

A focused laser removes the surface layer to expose the substrate beneath. A permanent, high-contrast, single-color mark with no ink involved.

Best for

Logos, names, dates and fine text. The default choice when the mark has to outlive the campaign.

Color

Single color: the natural color of the material under the surface.

Laser Cutting

The laser cuts entirely through the sheet to a custom outline. A shape cut to your logo or silhouette rather than a stock outline.

Best for

Acrylic awards and signage that should not look off-the-shelf.

Color

Material color.

Artwork requirements

  • A 300 dpi raster at the actual imprint dimensions will run cleanly. Anything pulled from a web page usually will not.
  • Outline your fonts before sending. It removes the most common cause of a proof coming back wrong.
  • Name the PMS values for anything that has to match a brand standard; screen color is not a reliable reference.
  • Do not spend a week hunting for the perfect file. Send what exists and we will tell you what is usable.
  • Send the file you have, even if it is imperfect. We will tell you honestly whether it will hold up and redraw it if it will not.
  • If the logo is only available as a bitmap, we need it at 300 dpi or better at final size, ideally on a transparent background.

Common uses

Full-color brand awardsBuilt for full-color brand awards. That is the use case the format was designed around, not one retrofitted to it.
Sales recognitionA natural fit for sales recognition, which is one of the settings this acrylic award was specified for.
Remote-team shippingA natural fit for remote-team shipping, which is one of the settings this acrylic award was specified for.
Booth and trade show handoutsThe item that gives someone a reason to stop walking, and a reason to remember which booth it came from.
Service anniversariesFive, ten and twenty years. The object marks the span in a way a announcement never manages.
Client thank-you programsSent after a renewal, a referral or a project close, when the relationship is warm and the gesture will land.
Renewal and retention giftsTimed to the contract date rather than the calendar, which is when the recipient is actually paying attention.

Where this works best

The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.

1

Technology, SaaS & Startups

Distributed teams have no office to carry the culture, so the objects have to. Shipping a considered kit to a home address is now a standard part of remote onboarding, and it is the rare marketing spend that shows up in retention numbers. Ship-safe materials matter more here than in any other segment. Acrylic is the only award substrate that reproduces a full-color logo cleanly and survives being posted to a home address. Flagship recognition. One or two of these, not a programme.

2

Employee Recognition & Service Awards

Recognition fails when the object does not match the words. The presentation matters as much as the piece. An award handed over in a hallway is worth a fraction of the same award presented in front of the team, which means the object should be specified for the moment it will be photographed in, not the shelf it ends on. Acrylic takes full-color UV printing beautifully, so unlike crystal it can reproduce a logo in exact brand colors rather than as a frosted silhouette. Laser engraving gives the frosted look when that is preferred. This is the award people photograph. Budget it as a single line.

3

Education, Schools & Universities

Education buys in waves: orientation, homecoming, graduation, staff appreciation. Student-facing items live rough. They go in backpacks, get left outdoors and are rarely cleaned, so durability matters more than finish. Faculty and donor gifting is the opposite problem and deserves an entirely separate specification. The acrylic award format earns its place here on keep-rate rather than headline price. $132.00 before breaks: reserved for the moment that warrants it.

4

Franchise & Multi-Location Brands

The hard problem in multi-location branding is consistency, not creativity. A single approved item list, locked artwork and a repeatable re-order path stop forty locations producing forty versions of the logo. Stocked programs with fixed pricing are what make that governable. Bought for the one occasion a year that genuinely earns it.

5

Sports Leagues, Tournaments & Clubs

Sport needs volume, deadlines and a clear hierarchy of awards. Awards are read as a hierarchy whether or not you intended one. If the participation piece and the champion piece look similar, the champion feels short-changed, and that is remembered longer than the result. Acrylic is roughly half the weight of glass and dramatically harder to break, which matters more than people expect. A centrepiece, not a run. Expect it on display for a decade.

6

Nonprofit & Fundraising

Every pound spent on a donor gift is a pound not spent on the mission, so the gift has to earn it. Volunteer recognition is where the money works hardest. Volunteers give time that would otherwise cost you wages, and the marginal cost of thanking them properly is trivial against what their continued involvement is worth. The piece the room looks at. Price it as an event cost, not merchandise.

What do buyers ask about LNA23RB?

Can I get a sample before committing?

Yes: order one piece. LNA23RB sells from a single unit at $132.00, the first rung of its published ladder, so a sample is simply a normal order. A decorated single piece goes through the same proof as a full run.

Can you work to a fixed in-hand date?

Yes. Give us the in-hand date and checkout tells you immediately whether standard production makes it. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit. A rush is quoted per job, with the date confirmed in writing before you pay.

What happens if something arrives damaged?

We replace damaged pieces. Send a photograph and the item number within 10 days of delivery and we handle the carrier claim ourselves. If the box arrives visibly damaged, write that on the freight bill before signing. The replacement runs from the artwork you already approved, so it matches the rest of the order.

How should this be cared for?

Wipe with a soft damp cloth. Avoid ammonia-based glass cleaners, which can craze the surface. LNA23RB measures 9 1/2" and is made of acrylic. Acrylic is roughly half the weight of glass and dramatically harder to break, which matters more than people expect.

Can I order more later and have them match?

Re-orders reproduce rather than reinterpret. We keep the approved artwork on file against the item number, so a re-order runs from the same file. On natural materials the base itself can shift a little between batches, so tell us if an exact match matters. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.

How long does production take?

Door to door at standard speed: a day for the proof, 3 to 5 business days in production, then 1 to 5 business days in transit. A rush is quoted per job, with the date confirmed in writing before you pay.

How is this decorated?

UV Printing is the primary method on LNA23RB. UV-cured ink is jetted directly onto the product and cured instantly under ultraviolet light. Full-color, photographic-quality artwork with hard edges and no dot gain. We can also run Laser Engraving and Laser Cutting on this item if the artwork calls for it. The personalization area on LNA23RB is 2.48 in x 4 in.

What is the minimum order for LNA23RB?

There is no minimum beyond one piece on LNA23RB. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+. The price per piece only goes down as the quantity rises. The published ladder on LNA23RB runs from $132.00 a piece at 1-11 down to $81.84 at 500+, about 38% less per piece.
