What is the Medium Crystal Peak with Blue Base?
A working crystal award. Full-lead crystal with high refractive brilliance and hand-finished edges. It measures 9". This is the blue colorway.
Worth knowing before you order: lead content increases the refractive index, which is the technical reason lead crystal throws more light and looks noticeably more brilliant under display lighting than ordinary glass. It also adds weight, which is a large part of why crystal reads as a premium award.
Crystal is the accepted visual shorthand for "this one mattered", and that is why it remains the default for flagship recognition. On this substrate specifically: sand carving produces the deepest, most tactile mark. Laser engraving is faster and better suited to fine text and small logos.
A centerpiece rather than a program. Budget it as an event cost, because that is what it is, and expect it to be photographed. Concretely: $254.00 each at 1-11, $157.48 at 500+.

Decoration options
The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 4 in x 4 in.
Sand Carving
Abrasive is blasted through a cut mask to cut into the surface of the glass or crystal. A deep, frosted, dimensional mark you can feel with a fingertip.
Crystal and glass awards where depth and presence matter more than color.
Frosted white, optionally color-filled.
Laser Engraving
A focused laser removes the surface layer to expose the substrate beneath. A permanent, high-contrast, single-color mark with no ink involved.
Logos, names, dates and fine text. The default choice when the mark has to outlive the campaign.
Single color: the natural color of the material under the surface.
Color Fill
Engraved or carved recesses are filled with pigment. A permanent engraved mark that reads in brand color rather than substrate color.
Metal and crystal where the logo must be recognisably on-brand.
Matched to Pantone where the recess allows.
Artwork requirements
- Type should be converted to curves or outlines, otherwise a missing font silently substitutes on our end.
- Vector artwork (.ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg) reproduces best at every size and is what we ask for first.
- Vector files are the safe option. They hold their edges whether the mark runs at an inch or a foot.
- Send vector if you have it. A .ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg scales to any imprint without softening.
- Send the file you have, even if it is imperfect. We will tell you honestly whether it will hold up and redraw it if it will not.
- We send a digital proof for written approval before production starts. Nothing goes on a machine until you sign it off.

Common uses
Where this works best
The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.
Financial Services, Insurance & Legal
Professional services sell trust, and the gift has to look like the invoice. The gift is often opened in front of colleagues, so it is judged as a signal about the relationship rather than as an object. Understatement is the safe default, and a name engraved properly does more than any material upgrade. Flagship recognition. One or two of these, not a programme.
Corporate Gifting & Client Appreciation
Client gifting has one job: to be kept. A gift that lands on a client desk and stays there keeps working long after the meeting that prompted it. That argues for fewer, better pieces rather than a large volume of disposables, and for decoration that will still look intentional in two years. Lead content increases the refractive index, which is the technical reason lead crystal throws more light and looks noticeably more brilliant under display lighting than ordinary glass. This is the award people photograph. Budget it as a single line.
Government, Military & First Responders
This segment is precise about protocol and unforgiving about quality. Procurement documentation often takes longer than production. Quotes with fixed validity periods, documented lead times and clear line-item pricing move faster through approval than a better price presented informally. $254.00 before breaks: reserved for the moment that warrants it.
Nonprofit & Fundraising
Every pound spent on a donor gift is a pound not spent on the mission, so the gift has to earn it. Volunteer recognition is where the money works hardest. Volunteers give time that would otherwise cost you wages, and the marginal cost of thanking them properly is trivial against what their continued involvement is worth. Decoration holds up in this setting, which is where cheaper substrates fail. Bought for the one occasion a year that genuinely earns it.
Technology, SaaS & Startups
Distributed teams have no office to carry the culture, so the objects have to. Shipping a considered kit to a home address is now a standard part of remote onboarding, and it is the rare marketing spend that shows up in retention numbers. Ship-safe materials matter more here than in any other segment. An imprint area of 4 in x 4 in is enough for a logo and a line of text without crowding. A centrepiece, not a run. Expect it on display for a decade.
Employee Recognition & Service Awards
Recognition fails when the object does not match the words. The presentation matters as much as the piece. An award handed over in a hallway is worth a fraction of the same award presented in front of the team, which means the object should be specified for the moment it will be photographed in, not the shelf it ends on. The piece the room looks at. Price it as an event cost, not merchandise.

What do buyers ask about CRY2010M?
Can I get a sample before committing?
Yes: order one piece. CRY2010M sells from a single unit at $254.00, the first rung of its published ladder, so a sample is simply a normal order. A decorated single piece goes through the same proof as a full run.
How is this decorated?
Sand Carving is the primary method on CRY2010M. Abrasive is blasted through a cut mask to cut into the surface of the glass or crystal. A deep, frosted, dimensional mark you can feel with a fingertip. We can also run Laser Engraving and Color Fill on this item if the artwork calls for it. The personalization area on CRY2010M is 4 in x 4 in.
What if the artwork does not fit the imprint area?
The personalization area on CRY2010M is 4 in x 4 in. If your mark does not sit well in that shape we redraw or re-proportion it and show you the result on the proof before anything is produced. Engraving is charged on the share of the area your artwork covers, so a smaller mark costs less.
Can I order more later and have them match?
Yes. We keep the approved artwork on file against the item number, so a re-order runs from the same file. Material batches can vary slightly on natural materials, which is worth knowing if color matching across orders is critical. The published ladder on CRY2010M runs from $254.00 a piece at 1-11 down to $157.48 at 500+, about 38% less per piece.
Do you ship to multiple addresses?
Yes, through a quote. Card checkout ships one order to one address, so for a split run send the address list with a quote request and we confirm the freight for every destination in writing before you pay. The artwork is proofed once and applied across the whole run. Ground freight is free on orders over $250.
Do you keep this item in stock?
Stock on CRY2010M is confirmed when you order. If a color is short we say so the day you order rather than the week before the deadline. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.
Can I see a proof before you produce the order?
Always, and we do not start without written approval. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing. Once approved, the proof becomes the specification for the run, so check the spelling and the placement carefully. The personalization area on CRY2010M is 4 in x 4 in.
What is the minimum order for CRY2010M?
There is no minimum beyond one piece on CRY2010M. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+. The price per piece only goes down as the quantity rises. The published ladder on CRY2010M runs from $254.00 a piece at 1-11 down to $157.48 at 500+, about 38% less per piece.

- Ground freight is free from 1 piece, which is where this order passes $250.00 of merchandise.
- The personalization area is 4 in by 4 in. Engraving is charged on the share your artwork actually covers, so a smaller logo costs less. Place yours on the product above and the price updates as you size it.
- At 50 pieces this costs less than 7% of the 610 other priced items in Crystal & Glass. It sits at the dearer end of that range, which is usually the material rather than the margin.
- Setup is free at every quantity, including 1.
