What is the Small Blue Faceted Impress Acrylic?

This acrylic award is made from cast acrylic with flame-polished edges. It measures 6" x 8". This is the blue colorway.

Acrylic is roughly half the weight of glass and dramatically harder to break, which matters more than people expect. It survives shipping to a remote office, it survives a trade show crate, and it survives being knocked off a desk. That is the difference between something kept and something replaced.

Acrylic is the only award substrate that reproduces a full-color logo cleanly and survives being posted to a home address. Acrylic takes full-color UV printing beautifully, so unlike crystal it can reproduce a logo in exact brand colors rather than as a frosted silhouette. Laser engraving gives the frosted look when that is preferred. The two together are why this item re-orders.

Flagship recognition. The cost only makes sense against a milestone big enough that people will remember where they were standing. Concretely: $181.00 each at 1-11, $112.22 at 500+.

Decoration options

The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 3.6 in x 3.6 in.

UV Printing

UV-cured ink is jetted directly onto the product and cured instantly under ultraviolet light. Full-color, photographic-quality artwork with hard edges and no dot gain.

Best for

Multi-color logos, gradients, photographs and exact brand-color matching.

Color

Full color, including white ink on dark substrates.

Laser Engraving

A focused laser removes the surface layer to expose the substrate beneath. A permanent, high-contrast, single-color mark with no ink involved.

Best for

Logos, names, dates and fine text. The default choice when the mark has to outlive the campaign.

Color

Single color: the natural color of the material under the surface.

Laser Cutting

The laser cuts entirely through the sheet to a custom outline. A shape cut to your logo or silhouette rather than a stock outline.

Best for

Acrylic awards and signage that should not look off-the-shelf.

Color

Material color.

Artwork requirements

  • A 300 dpi raster at the actual imprint dimensions will run cleanly. Anything pulled from a web page usually will not.
  • Type should be converted to curves or outlines, otherwise a missing font silently substitutes on our end.
  • Name the PMS values for anything that has to match a brand standard; screen color is not a reliable reference.
  • Outline your fonts before sending. It removes the most common cause of a proof coming back wrong.
  • Do not spend a week hunting for the perfect file. Send what exists and we will tell you what is usable.
  • If brand color accuracy matters, give us the Pantone numbers rather than a screenshot to match.

Common uses

Full-color brand awardsWorks well for full-color brand awards, where the acrylic award format does what a printed handout cannot.
Sales recognitionBuilt for sales recognition. That is the use case the format was designed around, not one retrofitted to it.
Remote-team shippingWorks well for remote-team shipping, where the acrylic award format does what a printed handout cannot.
Remote team welcome kitsShipped to a home address, which for a distributed team is the only physical touch the company gets.
Internal contests and incentivesA tangible prize outperforms a gift card for exactly the reason you would expect. It stays on the desk.
Safety and quality milestonesMarking a record that took every person on the floor to achieve, with something they can point at.
Team and department awardsRecognizing a group without the cost or ceremony of individual crystal for every person.
Service anniversariesFive, ten and twenty years. The object marks the span in a way a announcement never manages.

Where this works best

The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.

1

Sports Leagues, Tournaments & Clubs

Sport needs volume, deadlines and a clear hierarchy of awards. Awards are read as a hierarchy whether or not you intended one. If the participation piece and the champion piece look similar, the champion feels short-changed, and that is remembered longer than the result. Decoration holds up in this setting, which is where cheaper substrates fail. Reserved for a milestone big enough to justify the line item on its own.

2

Nonprofit & Fundraising

Every pound spent on a donor gift is a pound not spent on the mission, so the gift has to earn it. Volunteer recognition is where the money works hardest. Volunteers give time that would otherwise cost you wages, and the marginal cost of thanking them properly is trivial against what their continued involvement is worth. An imprint area of 3.6 in x 3.6 in is enough for a logo and a line of text without crowding. At $181.00 before breaks this is a once-a-year piece.

3

Technology, SaaS & Startups

Distributed teams have no office to carry the culture, so the objects have to. Shipping a considered kit to a home address is now a standard part of remote onboarding, and it is the rare marketing spend that shows up in retention numbers. Ship-safe materials matter more here than in any other segment. Flagship recognition. One or two of these, not a programme.

4

Employee Recognition & Service Awards

Recognition fails when the object does not match the words. The presentation matters as much as the piece. An award handed over in a hallway is worth a fraction of the same award presented in front of the team, which means the object should be specified for the moment it will be photographed in, not the shelf it ends on. This is the award people photograph. Budget it as a single line.

5

Education, Schools & Universities

Education buys in waves: orientation, homecoming, graduation, staff appreciation. Student-facing items live rough. They go in backpacks, get left outdoors and are rarely cleaned, so durability matters more than finish. Faculty and donor gifting is the opposite problem and deserves an entirely separate specification. Minimum order is a single piece, which suits how this segment tends to buy. $181.00 before breaks: reserved for the moment that warrants it.

What do buyers ask about IMP101BU?

Can I mix colors or sizes to reach a quantity break?

Yes, provided the artwork stays the same across the run. Different artwork is fine as well: it gets its own proof, and setup stays free. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+. The published ladder on IMP101BU runs from $181.00 a piece at 1-11 down to $112.22 at 500+, about 38% less per piece.

Can I see a proof before you produce the order?

Always, and we do not start without written approval. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing. Once approved, the proof becomes the specification for the run, so check the spelling and the placement carefully. The personalization area on IMP101BU is 3.6 in x 3.6 in.

Can I order more later and have them match?

Re-orders reproduce rather than reinterpret. We keep the approved artwork on file against the item number, so a re-order runs from the same file. On natural materials the base itself can shift a little between batches, so tell us if an exact match matters. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.

Do you keep this item in stock?

Yes. The warehouse shows 49 of IMP101BU in stock as of the last hourly sync. If a color is short we say so the day you order rather than the week before the deadline. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.

How is this decorated?

We run uv printing on IMP101BU as standard. Full-color, photographic-quality artwork with hard edges and no dot gain. We can also run Laser Engraving and Laser Cutting on this item if the artwork calls for it. The personalization area on IMP101BU is 3.6 in x 3.6 in. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing.

What artwork do you need from me?

Send vector if it exists, raster at 300 dpi if it does not, and whatever you have if neither. The personalization area on IMP101BU is 3.6 in x 3.6 in, and we redraw or re-proportion anything that will not survive it. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing.

What if the artwork does not fit the imprint area?

The personalization area on IMP101BU is 3.6 in x 3.6 in. If your mark does not sit well in that shape we redraw or re-proportion it and show you the result on the proof before anything is produced. Engraving is charged on the share of the area your artwork covers, so a smaller mark costs less.
