What is the Standing Glass with Silver Pin, 4" x 6" x 3/16"?

Standing Glass with Silver Pin, 4" x 6" x 3/16" (SBG146): a photo panel where Annealed glass with polished edges and a clear, even body does most of the work. It measures 4" x 6" x 3/16". This is the silver colorway.

Glass gives you most of the visual authority of crystal at a materially lower cost, which is what makes it the practical choice when you are recognizing a whole team rather than one person.

The image is fused into the surface rather than printed on top, so it will not yellow, peel or scratch off the way a mounted print does. That is why these outlast framed photography on a lobby wall. On this substrate specifically: deep etch sand carving frosts the surface for a bright white mark that photographs well. Laser engraving handles finer detail.

At this price you are buying a reaction rather than an impression. That only works if the list is short enough for the gesture to feel deliberate. Concretely: $32.55 each at 1-11, $20.18 at 500+.

Decoration options

The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 2.5 in x 4.5 in.

Sand Carving

Abrasive is blasted through a cut mask to cut into the surface of the glass or crystal. A deep, frosted, dimensional mark you can feel with a fingertip.

Best for

Crystal and glass awards where depth and presence matter more than color.

Color

Frosted white, optionally color-filled.

Laser Engraving

A focused laser removes the surface layer to expose the substrate beneath. A permanent, high-contrast, single-color mark with no ink involved.

Best for

Logos, names, dates and fine text. The default choice when the mark has to outlive the campaign.

Color

Single color: the natural color of the material under the surface.

UV Printing

UV-cured ink is jetted directly onto the product and cured instantly under ultraviolet light. Full-color, photographic-quality artwork with hard edges and no dot gain.

Best for

Multi-color logos, gradients, photographs and exact brand-color matching.

Color

Full color, including white ink on dark substrates.

Artwork requirements

  • Supply Pantone (PMS) references for any color that has to match exactly.
  • Send the file you have, even if it is imperfect. We will tell you honestly whether it will hold up and redraw it if it will not.
  • Outline your fonts before sending. It removes the most common cause of a proof coming back wrong.
  • Type should be converted to curves or outlines, otherwise a missing font silently substitutes on our end.
  • Nothing is produced before you approve a proof in writing. That is a hard rule, not a courtesy.
  • If the logo is only available as a bitmap, we need it at 300 dpi or better at final size, ideally on a transparent background.

Where this works best

The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.

1

Healthcare & Senior Living

Healthcare buyers screen for practicality and hygiene before they screen for design. Patient-facing and staff-facing items are different purchases and should be budgeted separately. What works as a staff appreciation piece often reads as inappropriate in a waiting room, and the reverse is true just as often. The image is fused into the surface rather than printed on top, so it will not yellow, peel or scratch off the way a mounted print does. That is why these outlast framed photography on a lobby wall. Volume takes it to $20.18, which widens the list without cheapening it.

2

Real Estate & Closing Gifts

A closing gift is a referral instrument, not a thank-you note. The right gift stays in the new home, gets used in front of guests, and prompts the question "where did you get that?". That is the moment your name comes up. Personalizing with the family name rather than the brokerage logo dramatically increases the odds it stays out on display. Deep etch sand carving frosts the surface for a bright white mark that photographs well. Laser engraving handles finer detail. The gesture is the product here. Spend the thought, not just the budget.

3

Faith & Community Organizations

Faith communities give to mark moments rather than to advertise. These pieces are given once and kept for a lifetime, so the failure mode is not looking cheap but dating badly. Restrained typography and no year-specific styling means the piece still reads well in twenty years. The photo panel format earns its place here on keep-rate rather than headline price. At $32.55 before breaks, name the recipients rather than filling a table.

4

Corporate Gifting & Client Appreciation

Client gifting has one job: to be kept. The recipient is rarely the decision maker you are trying to reach, which is the part most programs get wrong. Choose something that will sit in a shared space rather than a drawer, and the gift starts working on people who were never on your list. This reads as a gift. Give it to people you chose, not people who walked past.

5

Employee Recognition & Service Awards

Recognition fails when the object does not match the words. If you are marking five or ten years of someone's working life, the piece has to carry weight. Literally and otherwise. Personalization with the individual's name is what converts a company gift into a personal keepsake, and it is the single highest-leverage decision in a recognition program. Glass gives you most of the visual authority of crystal at a materially lower cost, which is what makes it the practical choice when you are recognizing a whole team rather than one person.. Worth personalising individually at this price; the response rate justifies it.

6

Nonprofit & Fundraising

Every pound spent on a donor gift is a pound not spent on the mission, so the gift has to earn it. Donors read the gift as a statement about stewardship. Something visibly expensive can cost you more in confidence than it earns in goodwill, which is why restraint and a personal inscription usually outperform scale in this sector. $32.55 before breaks puts this above hand-out territory. Use it that way.

What do buyers ask about SBG146?

How long does production take?

Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit. The clock starts when you approve the proof, not when you place the order. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing. A rush is quoted per job, with the date confirmed in writing before you pay.

How should this be cared for?

Hand wash recommended. Avoid thermal shock. SBG146 measures 4" x 6" x 3/16" and is made of glass. Glass gives you most of the visual authority of crystal at a materially lower cost, which is what makes it the practical choice when you are recognizing a whole team rather than one person.

What happens if something arrives damaged?

We replace damaged pieces. Send a photograph and the item number within 10 days of delivery and we handle the carrier claim ourselves. If the box arrives visibly damaged, write that on the freight bill before signing. The replacement runs from the artwork you already approved, so it matches the rest of the order.

Is there a setup charge?

There is no setup charge, ever. Art preparation, machine setup and the proof are part of the price on this page. Engraving is a separate line, shown per quantity in the cost table on this page, so the all-in figure is visible before checkout. Ground freight is free on orders over $250.

Can I get a sample before committing?

Yes: order one piece. SBG146 sells from a single unit at $32.55, the first rung of its published ladder, so a sample is simply a normal order. A decorated single piece goes through the same proof as a full run.

Do you keep this item in stock?

Yes. The warehouse shows more than 1,000 of SBG146 in stock as of the last hourly sync. If a color is short we say so the day you order rather than the week before the deadline. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.

How is this decorated?

Sand Carving is the primary method on SBG146. Abrasive is blasted through a cut mask to cut into the surface of the glass or crystal. A deep, frosted, dimensional mark you can feel with a fingertip. We can also run Laser Engraving and UV Printing on this item if the artwork calls for it. The personalization area on SBG146 is 2.5 in x 4.5 in.

What is the minimum order for SBG146?

SBG146 can be ordered from a single piece. The published ladder on SBG146 runs from $32.55 a piece at 1-11 down to $20.18 at 500+, about 38% less per piece. There is no setup fee at any quantity. The personalization area on SBG146 is 2.5 in x 4.5 in.
