What is the White Gaiter, 16" x 8"?

A working face covering. Quality materials selected for decoration and everyday durability. It measures 16" x 8". This is the white colorway.

Built to survive real use rather than a single event, that is what separates a promotional item that keeps working from one that ends up in a drawer. That is the difference between something kept and something replaced.

Worn at eye level, which makes it one of the highest-visibility placements available on any wearable. Decoration method is matched to the substrate so the mark is permanent rather than printed on top.

This is the workhorse tier: the price point where an item is good enough to be kept but affordable enough to order in real quantity. Most successful programs live here. Concretely: $10.65 each at 1-11, $6.60 at 500+.

Decoration options

The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 4.8 in x 5 in.

Laser Engraving

A focused laser removes the surface layer to expose the substrate beneath. A permanent, high-contrast, single-color mark with no ink involved.

Best for

Logos, names, dates and fine text. The default choice when the mark has to outlive the campaign.

Color

Single color: the natural color of the material under the surface.

UV Printing

UV-cured ink is jetted directly onto the product and cured instantly under ultraviolet light. Full-color, photographic-quality artwork with hard edges and no dot gain.

Best for

Multi-color logos, gradients, photographs and exact brand-color matching.

Color

Full color, including white ink on dark substrates.

Artwork requirements

  • If brand color accuracy matters, give us the Pantone numbers rather than a screenshot to match.
  • Type should be converted to curves or outlines, otherwise a missing font silently substitutes on our end.
  • Send vector if you have it. A .ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg scales to any imprint without softening.
  • Convert all type to outlines so fonts do not substitute in production.
  • Nothing is produced before you approve a proof in writing. That is a hard rule, not a courtesy.
  • Name the PMS values for anything that has to match a brand standard; screen color is not a reliable reference.

Common uses

Healthcare and clinical teamsBuilt for healthcare and clinical teams. That is the use case the format was designed around, not one retrofitted to it.
Field crews and eventsWorks well for field crews and events, where the face covering format does what a printed handout cannot.
Travel and commuter kitsTravel and commuter kits is where this earns its cost, and where buyers re-order it.
Team and department awardsRecognizing a group without the cost or ceremony of individual crystal for every person.
Employee milestonesAnniversaries, promotions and retirements: the moments where a personalized object does what an email cannot.
Service anniversariesFive, ten and twenty years. The object marks the span in a way a announcement never manages.
Renewal and retention giftsTimed to the contract date rather than the calendar, which is when the recipient is actually paying attention.

Where this works best

The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.

1

Construction, Trades & Field Services

On a job site, an item survives or it disappears. Crews compare what they were given. Handing out two grades of the same item across a site causes more friction than giving nothing at all, so buy one specification deep rather than two shallow. Built to survive real use rather than a single event, that is what separates a promotional item that keeps working from one that ends up in a drawer.. Deep enough quantity is affordable here, which is unusual at this quality.

2

Weddings, Reunions & Milestone Events

Personal events are the one segment where the recipient genuinely wants the item personalized. Guests keep what they can use and discard what merely commemorates. An item that works on an ordinary Tuesday will outlive the event by years; one that only makes sense on the day will not survive the drive home. The workhorse choice for this audience, and it re-orders predictably.

3

Government, Military & First Responders

This segment is precise about protocol and unforgiving about quality. Challenge coins, unit recognition, retirement and commendation pieces all carry established conventions. Sourcing compliance and documented lead times usually matter as much as the item itself. Decoration holds up in this setting, which is where cheaper substrates fail. Priced so you can cover everyone without cheapening the gesture.

4

Education, Schools & Universities

Education buys in waves: orientation, homecoming, graduation, staff appreciation. Departments buy separately even when the brand is shared, which is how a university ends up with nine versions of its own crest. A single approved item list with locked artwork solves more than any individual purchasing decision will. An imprint area of 4.8 in x 5 in is enough for a logo and a line of text without crowding. At $6.60 in volume the cost per kept item is hard to beat.

5

Healthcare & Senior Living

Healthcare buyers screen for practicality and hygiene before they screen for design. Patient-facing and staff-facing items are different purchases and should be budgeted separately. What works as a staff appreciation piece often reads as inappropriate in a waiting room, and the reverse is true just as often. Roughly 38% comes off between one piece and a full run.

What do buyers ask about USGT2?

What artwork do you need from me?

Send vector if it exists, raster at 300 dpi if it does not, and whatever you have if neither. The personalization area on USGT2 is 4.8 in x 5 in, and we redraw or re-proportion anything that will not survive it. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing.

Can I get a sample before committing?

Yes: order one piece. USGT2 sells from a single unit at $10.65, the first rung of its published ladder, so a sample is simply a normal order. A decorated single piece goes through the same proof as a full run.

Do you keep this item in stock?

Yes. The warehouse shows more than 1,000 of USGT2 in stock as of the last hourly sync. If a color is short we say so the day you order rather than the week before the deadline. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.

Can I see a proof before you produce the order?

Always, and we do not start without written approval. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing. Once approved, the proof becomes the specification for the run, so check the spelling and the placement carefully. The personalization area on USGT2 is 4.8 in x 5 in.

Do you ship to multiple addresses?

Yes, through a quote. Card checkout ships one order to one address, so for a split run send the address list with a quote request and we confirm the freight for every destination in writing before you pay. The artwork is proofed once and applied across the whole run. Ground freight is free on orders over $250.

What happens if something arrives damaged?

Tell us within 10 days of delivery and we replace it. Note any damage on the freight bill before you sign for it, because that is what the carrier claim turns on. Resolving it with the carrier is our job, not yours. The replacement runs from the artwork you already approved, so it matches the rest of the order.

How long does production take?

Door to door at standard speed: a day for the proof, 3 to 5 business days in production, then 1 to 5 business days in transit. A rush is quoted per job, with the date confirmed in writing before you pay.

What is the minimum order for USGT2?

USGT2 can be ordered from a single piece. The published ladder on USGT2 runs from $10.65 a piece at 1-11 down to $6.60 at 500+, about 38% less per piece. There is no setup fee at any quantity. The personalization area on USGT2 is 4.8 in x 5 in.
