What is the 9" x 12" Genuine Bamboo Plaque?

The 9" x 12" Genuine Bamboo Plaque is a plaque built around Sustainably grown bamboo with a natural sealed finish. It measures 9" x 12".

In practice: bamboo is a grass, not a hardwood, that is why it regrows in a few years rather than a few decades. The practical reason it is the default choice when a program has a sustainability requirement to satisfy.

Wall-mounted recognition stays visible to everyone who walks past, not just the recipient. Laser engraving burns a rich dark-brown mark into the surface. No ink, no coating, nothing to wear off. The two together are why this item re-orders.

Above handout territory. The value here is in choosing recipients deliberately, because the object is good enough that the choosing is part of the message. Concretely: $26.00 each at 1-11, $16.12 at 500+.

Decoration options

The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 7.5 in x 10 in.

Laser Engraving

A focused laser removes the surface layer to expose the substrate beneath. A permanent, high-contrast, single-color mark with no ink involved.

Best for

Logos, names, dates and fine text. The default choice when the mark has to outlive the campaign.

Color

Single color: the natural color of the material under the surface.

UV Printing

UV-cured ink is jetted directly onto the product and cured instantly under ultraviolet light. Full-color, photographic-quality artwork with hard edges and no dot gain.

Best for

Multi-color logos, gradients, photographs and exact brand-color matching.

Color

Full color, including white ink on dark substrates.

Artwork requirements

  • Vector files are the safe option. They hold their edges whether the mark runs at an inch or a foot.
  • A 300 dpi raster at the actual imprint dimensions will run cleanly. Anything pulled from a web page usually will not.
  • Send the file you have, even if it is imperfect. We will tell you honestly whether it will hold up and redraw it if it will not.
  • Nothing is produced before you approve a proof in writing. That is a hard rule, not a courtesy.
  • Type should be converted to curves or outlines, otherwise a missing font silently substitutes on our end.
  • Convert all type to outlines so fonts do not substitute in production.

Where this works best

The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.

1

Government, Military & First Responders

This segment is precise about protocol and unforgiving about quality. Procurement documentation often takes longer than production. Quotes with fixed validity periods, documented lead times and clear line-item pricing move faster through approval than a better price presented informally. Minimum order is a single piece, which suits how this segment tends to buy. Too good to scatter. Pick the recipients deliberately.

2

Faith & Community Organizations

Faith communities give to mark moments rather than to advertise. Congregations buy in small quantities across many occasions rather than in one annual run. That makes minimum order quantity and re-order consistency more important than unit price for almost every purchase in this segment. Wall-mounted recognition stays visible to everyone who walks past, not just the recipient. Volume takes it to $16.12, which widens the list without cheapening it.

3

Sports Leagues, Tournaments & Clubs

Sport needs volume, deadlines and a clear hierarchy of awards. Participation medals for the field, distinct pieces for placegetters, and something with real presence for the overall champion. Production timing is usually the binding constraint, so lock artwork well before the event rather than after the results are known. Laser engraving burns a rich dark-brown mark into the surface. No ink, no coating, nothing to wear off. The gesture is the product here. Spend the thought, not just the budget.

4

Employee Recognition & Service Awards

Recognition fails when the object does not match the words. The presentation matters as much as the piece. An award handed over in a hallway is worth a fraction of the same award presented in front of the team, which means the object should be specified for the moment it will be photographed in, not the shelf it ends on. The plaque format earns its place here on keep-rate rather than headline price. At $26.00 before breaks, name the recipients rather than filling a table.

5

Nonprofit & Fundraising

Every pound spent on a donor gift is a pound not spent on the mission, so the gift has to earn it. Volunteer recognition is where the money works hardest. Volunteers give time that would otherwise cost you wages, and the marginal cost of thanking them properly is trivial against what their continued involvement is worth. This reads as a gift. Give it to people you chose, not people who walked past.

6

Education, Schools & Universities

Education buys in waves: orientation, homecoming, graduation, staff appreciation. Budgets are tight and quantities are large, which pushes toward mid-tier items ordered in volume. Alumni and donor gifting is the exception: that is where the spend per unit rises sharply, because the return is measured in gifts rather than impressions. Bamboo is a grass, not a hardwood, that is why it regrows in a few years rather than a few decades. Worth personalising individually at this price; the response rate justifies it.

What do buyers ask about BAM1912?

Can I see a proof before you produce the order?

Yes, and nothing runs until you have signed it off. Read it properly rather than skimming, because the approved proof is the specification we produce against. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.

Is there a setup charge?

No. Setup is free on every order at every quantity. Art preparation, machine setup and your digital proof are built into the price, with nothing added for them later. Engraving is a separate line, shown per quantity in the cost table on this page, so the all-in figure is visible before checkout.

What if the artwork does not fit the imprint area?

The personalization area on BAM1912 is 7.5 in x 10 in. If your mark does not sit well in that shape we redraw or re-proportion it and show you the result on the proof before anything is produced. Engraving is charged on the share of the area your artwork covers, so a smaller mark costs less.

How should this be cared for?

Hand wash and dry immediately. Oil occasionally if used for food service. BAM1912 measures 9" x 12" and is made of bamboo. Bamboo is a grass, not a hardwood, that is why it regrows in a few years rather than a few decades.

What artwork do you need from me?

Send vector if it exists, raster at 300 dpi if it does not, and whatever you have if neither. The personalization area on BAM1912 is 7.5 in x 10 in, and we redraw or re-proportion anything that will not survive it. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing.

Can I order more later and have them match?

Re-orders reproduce rather than reinterpret. We keep the approved artwork on file against the item number, so a re-order runs from the same file. On natural materials the base itself can shift a little between batches, so tell us if an exact match matters. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.

Can I get a sample before committing?

Yes: order one piece. BAM1912 sells from a single unit at $26.00, the first rung of its published ladder, so a sample is simply a normal order. A decorated single piece goes through the same proof as a full run.

What is the minimum order for BAM1912?

There is no minimum beyond one piece on BAM1912. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+. The price per piece only goes down as the quantity rises. The published ladder on BAM1912 runs from $26.00 a piece at 1-11 down to $16.12 at 500+, about 38% less per piece.
