What is the Contemporary Clear Glass Award with Red Arched Base with Matte Metallic Finish, 3 7/8" x 10 1/8"?

Item G3115 is a plaque in glass, chosen for how well it takes a mark and how long that mark lasts. It measures 3 7/8" x 10 1/8". This is the clear colorway, one of 2 in the range.

Glass gives you most of the visual authority of crystal at a materially lower cost, which is what makes it the practical choice when you are recognizing a whole team rather than one person.

Deep etch sand carving frosts the surface for a bright white mark that photographs well. Laser engraving handles finer detail. Wall-mounted recognition stays visible to everyone who walks past, not just the recipient.

At this price the item is a statement about the recipient. Personalize every one, and keep the list to people you could name from memory. Concretely: $93.00 each at 1-11, $57.66 at 500+.

Decoration options

The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 2 in x 2 in.

Sand Carving

Abrasive is blasted through a cut mask to cut into the surface of the glass or crystal. A deep, frosted, dimensional mark you can feel with a fingertip.

Best for

Crystal and glass awards where depth and presence matter more than color.

Color

Frosted white, optionally color-filled.

Laser Engraving

A focused laser removes the surface layer to expose the substrate beneath. A permanent, high-contrast, single-color mark with no ink involved.

Best for

Logos, names, dates and fine text. The default choice when the mark has to outlive the campaign.

Color

Single color: the natural color of the material under the surface.

UV Printing

UV-cured ink is jetted directly onto the product and cured instantly under ultraviolet light. Full-color, photographic-quality artwork with hard edges and no dot gain.

Best for

Multi-color logos, gradients, photographs and exact brand-color matching.

Color

Full color, including white ink on dark substrates.

Artwork requirements

  • A 300 dpi raster at the actual imprint dimensions will run cleanly. Anything pulled from a web page usually will not.
  • Raster artwork should be at least 300 dpi at the finished imprint size, on a transparent or white background.
  • We send a digital proof for written approval before production starts. Nothing goes on a machine until you sign it off.
  • If the logo is only available as a bitmap, we need it at 300 dpi or better at final size, ideally on a transparent background.
  • Vector artwork (.ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg) reproduces best at every size and is what we ask for first.

Where this works best

The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.

1

Faith & Community Organizations

Faith communities give to mark moments rather than to advertise. Congregations buy in small quantities across many occasions rather than in one annual run. That makes minimum order quantity and re-order consistency more important than unit price for almost every purchase in this segment. Wall-mounted recognition stays visible to everyone who walks past, not just the recipient. Give this to the handful of people who genuinely moved the number.

2

Sports Leagues, Tournaments & Clubs

Sport needs volume, deadlines and a clear hierarchy of awards. Participation medals for the field, distinct pieces for placegetters, and something with real presence for the overall champion. Production timing is usually the binding constraint, so lock artwork well before the event rather than after the results are known. Deep etch sand carving frosts the surface for a bright white mark that photographs well. Laser engraving handles finer detail. At this price the recipient list should fit on one page.

3

Employee Recognition & Service Awards

Recognition fails when the object does not match the words. The presentation matters as much as the piece. An award handed over in a hallway is worth a fraction of the same award presented in front of the team, which means the object should be specified for the moment it will be photographed in, not the shelf it ends on. The plaque format earns its place here on keep-rate rather than headline price. Executive tier. Treat the engraving as carefully as the invoice.

4

Nonprofit & Fundraising

Every pound spent on a donor gift is a pound not spent on the mission, so the gift has to earn it. Volunteer recognition is where the money works hardest. Volunteers give time that would otherwise cost you wages, and the marginal cost of thanking them properly is trivial against what their continued involvement is worth. Even at volume it holds $57.66, which tells you what tier this is.

5

Education, Schools & Universities

Education buys in waves: orientation, homecoming, graduation, staff appreciation. Budgets are tight and quantities are large, which pushes toward mid-tier items ordered in volume. Alumni and donor gifting is the exception: that is where the spend per unit rises sharply, because the return is measured in gifts rather than impressions. Glass gives you most of the visual authority of crystal at a materially lower cost, which is what makes it the practical choice when you are recognizing a whole team rather than one person.. Spend it where the relationship is worth more than the invoice.

What do buyers ask about G3115?

Can you work to a fixed in-hand date?

Yes. Give us the in-hand date and checkout tells you immediately whether standard production makes it. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit. A rush is quoted per job, with the date confirmed in writing before you pay.

Do you keep this item in stock?

Yes. The warehouse shows 264 of G3115 in stock as of the last hourly sync. If a color is short we say so the day you order rather than the week before the deadline. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.

What happens if something arrives damaged?

Tell us within 10 days of delivery and we replace it. Note any damage on the freight bill before you sign for it, because that is what the carrier claim turns on. Resolving it with the carrier is our job, not yours. The replacement runs from the artwork you already approved, so it matches the rest of the order.

Can I mix colors or sizes to reach a quantity break?

Yes. G3115 runs in 2 colors and they combine for pricing, as long as the artwork does not change between them. Different artwork is fine as well: it gets its own proof, and setup stays free. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+.

Do you ship to multiple addresses?

Yes, through a quote. Card checkout ships one order to one address, so for a split run send the address list with a quote request and we confirm the freight for every destination in writing before you pay. The artwork is proofed once and applied across the whole run. Ground freight is free on orders over $250.

Can I see a proof before you produce the order?

Always, and we do not start without written approval. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing. Once approved, the proof becomes the specification for the run, so check the spelling and the placement carefully. The personalization area on G3115 is 2 in x 2 in.

How is this decorated?

We run sand carving on G3115 as standard. A deep, frosted, dimensional mark you can feel with a fingertip. We can also run Laser Engraving and UV Printing on this item if the artwork calls for it. The personalization area on G3115 is 2 in x 2 in. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing.
