What is the Large Silver Faceted Impress Acrylic?

Large Silver Faceted Impress Acrylic (IMP102S): a acrylic award where Cast acrylic with flame-polished edges does most of the work. It measures 6" x 9". This is the silver colorway.

In practice: acrylic is roughly half the weight of glass and dramatically harder to break, which matters more than people expect. It survives shipping to a remote office, it survives a trade show crate, and it survives being knocked off a desk.

Acrylic takes full-color UV printing beautifully, so unlike crystal it can reproduce a logo in exact brand colors rather than as a frosted silhouette. Laser engraving gives the frosted look when that is preferred. Acrylic is the only award substrate that reproduces a full-color logo cleanly and survives being posted to a home address.

Reserved for the occasion that actually earns it. One or two a year, presented properly, and on display for a decade after. Concretely: $207.00 each at 1-11, $128.34 at 500+.

Decoration options

The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 3.6 in x 4 in.

UV Printing

UV-cured ink is jetted directly onto the product and cured instantly under ultraviolet light. Full-color, photographic-quality artwork with hard edges and no dot gain.

Best for

Multi-color logos, gradients, photographs and exact brand-color matching.

Color

Full color, including white ink on dark substrates.

Laser Engraving

A focused laser removes the surface layer to expose the substrate beneath. A permanent, high-contrast, single-color mark with no ink involved.

Best for

Logos, names, dates and fine text. The default choice when the mark has to outlive the campaign.

Color

Single color: the natural color of the material under the surface.

Laser Cutting

The laser cuts entirely through the sheet to a custom outline. A shape cut to your logo or silhouette rather than a stock outline.

Best for

Acrylic awards and signage that should not look off-the-shelf.

Color

Material color.

Artwork requirements

  • A 300 dpi raster at the actual imprint dimensions will run cleanly. Anything pulled from a web page usually will not.
  • Outline your fonts before sending. It removes the most common cause of a proof coming back wrong.
  • Vector files are the safe option. They hold their edges whether the mark runs at an inch or a foot.
  • If the logo is only available as a bitmap, we need it at 300 dpi or better at final size, ideally on a transparent background.
  • Type should be converted to curves or outlines, otherwise a missing font silently substitutes on our end.

Common uses

Full-color brand awardsBuilt for full-color brand awards. That is the use case the format was designed around, not one retrofitted to it.
Sales recognitionA natural fit for sales recognition, which is one of the settings this acrylic award was specified for.
Remote-team shippingBuilt for remote-team shipping. That is the use case the format was designed around, not one retrofitted to it.
Internal contests and incentivesA tangible prize outperforms a gift card for exactly the reason you would expect. It stays on the desk.
Team and department awardsRecognizing a group without the cost or ceremony of individual crystal for every person.
Event and conference giftingHanded to qualified conversations rather than to everyone, so the spend goes where the pipeline is.
Booth and trade show handoutsThe item that gives someone a reason to stop walking, and a reason to remember which booth it came from.

Where this works best

The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.

1

Employee Recognition & Service Awards

Recognition fails when the object does not match the words. If you are marking five or ten years of someone's working life, the piece has to carry weight. Literally and otherwise. Personalization with the individual's name is what converts a company gift into a personal keepsake, and it is the single highest-leverage decision in a recognition program. Acrylic takes full-color UV printing beautifully, so unlike crystal it can reproduce a logo in exact brand colors rather than as a frosted silhouette. Laser engraving gives the frosted look when that is preferred. A centrepiece, not a run. Expect it on display for a decade.

2

Education, Schools & Universities

Education buys in waves: orientation, homecoming, graduation, staff appreciation. Departments buy separately even when the brand is shared, which is how a university ends up with nine versions of its own crest. A single approved item list with locked artwork solves more than any individual purchasing decision will. The acrylic award format earns its place here on keep-rate rather than headline price. The piece the room looks at. Price it as an event cost, not merchandise.

3

Franchise & Multi-Location Brands

The hard problem in multi-location branding is consistency, not creativity. Artwork drift is cumulative and invisible until it is severe. A locked file held centrally against each item number, rather than a logo emailed between locations, is what stops forty sites gradually producing forty logos. This is the one people stand next to in the photograph.

4

Sports Leagues, Tournaments & Clubs

Sport needs volume, deadlines and a clear hierarchy of awards. Participation medals for the field, distinct pieces for placegetters, and something with real presence for the overall champion. Production timing is usually the binding constraint, so lock artwork well before the event rather than after the results are known. Acrylic is roughly half the weight of glass and dramatically harder to break, which matters more than people expect. Reserved for a milestone big enough to justify the line item on its own.

5

Nonprofit & Fundraising

Every pound spent on a donor gift is a pound not spent on the mission, so the gift has to earn it. Donors read the gift as a statement about stewardship. Something visibly expensive can cost you more in confidence than it earns in goodwill, which is why restraint and a personal inscription usually outperform scale in this sector. At $207.00 before breaks this is a once-a-year piece.

What do buyers ask about IMP102S?

What artwork do you need from me?

Send vector if it exists, raster at 300 dpi if it does not, and whatever you have if neither. The personalization area on IMP102S is 3.6 in x 4 in, and we redraw or re-proportion anything that will not survive it. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing.

Do you ship to multiple addresses?

Yes, through a quote. Card checkout ships one order to one address, so for a split run send the address list with a quote request and we confirm the freight for every destination in writing before you pay. The artwork is proofed once and applied across the whole run. Ground freight is free on orders over $250.

How should this be cared for?

Wipe with a soft damp cloth. Avoid ammonia-based glass cleaners, which can craze the surface. IMP102S measures 6" x 9" and is made of acrylic. Acrylic is roughly half the weight of glass and dramatically harder to break, which matters more than people expect.

What does it actually cost at quantity?

The published ladder on IMP102S runs from $207.00 a piece at 1-11 down to $128.34 at 500+, about 38% less per piece. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+. Engraving is a separate line, shown per quantity in the cost table on this page, so the all-in figure is visible before checkout. Ground freight is free on orders over $250.

What happens if something arrives damaged?

Tell us within 10 days of delivery and we replace it. Note any damage on the freight bill before you sign for it, because that is what the carrier claim turns on. Resolving it with the carrier is our job, not yours. The replacement runs from the artwork you already approved, so it matches the rest of the order.

Can I get a sample before committing?

Yes: order one piece. IMP102S sells from a single unit at $207.00, the first rung of its published ladder, so a sample is simply a normal order. A decorated single piece goes through the same proof as a full run.

How long does production take?

Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit. The clock starts when you approve the proof, not when you place the order. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing. A rush is quoted per job, with the date confirmed in writing before you pay.

What is the minimum order for IMP102S?

IMP102S can be ordered from a single piece. The published ladder on IMP102S runs from $207.00 a piece at 1-11 down to $128.34 at 500+, about 38% less per piece. There is no setup fee at any quantity. The personalization area on IMP102S is 3.6 in x 4 in.
