What is the Music High Relief Medal-Silver?

This is a medal in zinc alloy. Straightforward to decorate, and durable enough that the decoration outlasts the occasion. It measures 2". This is the silver colorway.

Die casting captures far finer relief detail than stamping, so medals and heavier emblem pieces are cast rather than pressed. Plating then sets the finish. Gold, silver or bronze.

Artwork is struck into the die, or applied as a printed or sublimated insert set into the recess. Medals scale to hundreds of recipients at a cost per person that no other award form matches.

Treat this as reach inventory. The point of the tier is that you can put one in every hand at an event without the total ever becoming a conversation with finance. Concretely: $2.90 each at 1-11, $1.80 at 500+.

Decoration options

The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 1.2 in x 1 in.

Artwork requirements

  • Raster artwork should be at least 300 dpi at the finished imprint size, on a transparent or white background.
  • If the logo is only available as a bitmap, we need it at 300 dpi or better at final size, ideally on a transparent background.
  • Do not spend a week hunting for the perfect file. Send what exists and we will tell you what is usable.
  • Send vector if you have it. A .ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg scales to any imprint without softening.
  • If brand color accuracy matters, give us the Pantone numbers rather than a screenshot to match.
  • Vector files are the safe option. They hold their edges whether the mark runs at an inch or a foot.

Where this works best

The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.

1

Nonprofit & Fundraising

Every pound spent on a donor gift is a pound not spent on the mission, so the gift has to earn it. Recognition pieces for major donors and board members are the clearest win: they are relatively few, they are highly personal, and they materially affect renewal. For event merchandise, price the item to sell rather than to give. Minimum order is a single piece, which suits how this segment tends to buy. Buy for coverage. The arithmetic rewards it and the budget will not notice.

2

Sports Leagues, Tournaments & Clubs

Sport needs volume, deadlines and a clear hierarchy of awards. Awards are read as a hierarchy whether or not you intended one. If the participation piece and the champion piece look similar, the champion feels short-changed, and that is remembered longer than the result. Medals scale to hundreds of recipients at a cost per person that no other award form matches. At $2.90 before breaks it is cheap enough to hand out without counting.

3

Education, Schools & Universities

Education buys in waves: orientation, homecoming, graduation, staff appreciation. Student-facing items live rough. They go in backpacks, get left outdoors and are rarely cleaned, so durability matters more than finish. Faculty and donor gifting is the opposite problem and deserves an entirely separate specification. Artwork is struck into the die, or applied as a printed or sublimated insert set into the recess. The unit cost here is low enough that reach matters more than restraint.

4

Government, Military & First Responders

This segment is precise about protocol and unforgiving about quality. Challenge coins, unit recognition, retirement and commendation pieces all carry established conventions. Sourcing compliance and documented lead times usually matter as much as the item itself. The medal format earns its place here on keep-rate rather than headline price. Order deep. At this price the waste of a few extra is cheaper than running short.

What do buyers ask about HR785S?

Do you ship to multiple addresses?

Yes, through a quote. What happens if something arrives damaged?

We replace damaged pieces. Send a photograph and the item number within 10 days of delivery and we handle the carrier claim ourselves. If the box arrives visibly damaged, write that on the freight bill before signing. The replacement runs from the artwork you already approved, so it matches the rest of the order.

How long does production take?

Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit. The clock starts when you approve the proof, not when you place the order.
