What is the Octagon Series Jade Acrylic Award, 8" x 8 3/4"?

This is a acrylic award in acrylic. Straightforward to decorate, and durable enough that the decoration outlasts the occasion. It measures 8" x 8 3/4".

Worth knowing before you order: acrylic is roughly half the weight of glass and dramatically harder to break, which matters more than people expect. It survives shipping to a remote office, it survives a trade show crate, and it survives being knocked off a desk.

Acrylic is the only award substrate that reproduces a full-color logo cleanly and survives being posted to a home address. Acrylic takes full-color UV printing beautifully, so unlike crystal it can reproduce a logo in exact brand colors rather than as a frosted silhouette. Laser engraving gives the frosted look when that is preferred. The two together are why this item re-orders.

At this price the item is a statement about the recipient. Personalize every one, and keep the list to people you could name from memory. Concretely: $117.00 each at 1-11, $72.54 at 500+.

Decoration options

The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 4 in x 3.94 in.

UV Printing

UV-cured ink is jetted directly onto the product and cured instantly under ultraviolet light. Full-color, photographic-quality artwork with hard edges and no dot gain.

Best for

Multi-color logos, gradients, photographs and exact brand-color matching.

Color

Full color, including white ink on dark substrates.

Laser Engraving

A focused laser removes the surface layer to expose the substrate beneath. A permanent, high-contrast, single-color mark with no ink involved.

Best for

Logos, names, dates and fine text. The default choice when the mark has to outlive the campaign.

Color

Single color: the natural color of the material under the surface.

Laser Cutting

The laser cuts entirely through the sheet to a custom outline. A shape cut to your logo or silhouette rather than a stock outline.

Best for

Acrylic awards and signage that should not look off-the-shelf.

Color

Material color.

Artwork requirements

  • Raster artwork should be at least 300 dpi at the finished imprint size, on a transparent or white background.
  • Supply Pantone (PMS) references for any color that has to match exactly.
  • Vector files are the safe option. They hold their edges whether the mark runs at an inch or a foot.
  • If the logo is only available as a bitmap, we need it at 300 dpi or better at final size, ideally on a transparent background.
  • A 300 dpi raster at the actual imprint dimensions will run cleanly. Anything pulled from a web page usually will not.
  • Name the PMS values for anything that has to match a brand standard; screen color is not a reliable reference.

Common uses

Full-color brand awardsBuilt for full-color brand awards. That is the use case the format was designed around, not one retrofitted to it.
Sales recognitionBuilt for sales recognition. That is the use case the format was designed around, not one retrofitted to it.
Remote-team shippingSpecified regularly for remote-team shipping. The imprint area at 4 in x 3.94 in is sized for exactly that job.
Booth and trade show handoutsThe item that gives someone a reason to stop walking, and a reason to remember which booth it came from.
Executive and board giftingShort lists, individual personalization, and a piece that survives scrutiny.
Service anniversariesFive, ten and twenty years. The object marks the span in a way a announcement never manages.
Fundraising and donor recognitionThanking the people who gave, in a form that quietly encourages the next person to.
Sponsorship and partner thanksGiven to the people who funded or enabled the work, in a form they can keep visible.

Where this works best

The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.

1

Nonprofit & Fundraising

Every pound spent on a donor gift is a pound not spent on the mission, so the gift has to earn it. Donors read the gift as a statement about stewardship. Something visibly expensive can cost you more in confidence than it earns in goodwill, which is why restraint and a personal inscription usually outperform scale in this sector. At $117.00 before breaks this is relationship work, not advertising.

2

Technology, SaaS & Startups

Distributed teams have no office to carry the culture, so the objects have to. Company swag competes with genuinely good consumer products for the same desk space, and it usually loses. The piece has to be something the recipient would plausibly have bought, or it becomes a donation to a charity shop. Reserve it for named recipients: key clients, top performers, long service.

3

Employee Recognition & Service Awards

Recognition fails when the object does not match the words. If you are marking five or ten years of someone's working life, the piece has to carry weight. Literally and otherwise. Personalization with the individual's name is what converts a company gift into a personal keepsake, and it is the single highest-leverage decision in a recognition program. Minimum order is a single piece, which suits how this segment tends to buy. This is a shortlist item. Individual personalisation is expected at this level.

4

Education, Schools & Universities

Education buys in waves: orientation, homecoming, graduation, staff appreciation. Departments buy separately even when the brand is shared, which is how a university ends up with nine versions of its own crest. A single approved item list with locked artwork solves more than any individual purchasing decision will. Acrylic is the only award substrate that reproduces a full-color logo cleanly and survives being posted to a home address. $117.00 before breaks buys something that stays on a desk for years.

5

Franchise & Multi-Location Brands

The hard problem in multi-location branding is consistency, not creativity. Artwork drift is cumulative and invisible until it is severe. A locked file held centrally against each item number, rather than a logo emailed between locations, is what stops forty sites gradually producing forty logos. Acrylic takes full-color UV printing beautifully, so unlike crystal it can reproduce a logo in exact brand colors rather than as a frosted silhouette. Laser engraving gives the frosted look when that is preferred. Give this to the handful of people who genuinely moved the number.

6

Sports Leagues, Tournaments & Clubs

Sport needs volume, deadlines and a clear hierarchy of awards. Participation medals for the field, distinct pieces for placegetters, and something with real presence for the overall champion. Production timing is usually the binding constraint, so lock artwork well before the event rather than after the results are known. The acrylic award format earns its place here on keep-rate rather than headline price. At this price the recipient list should fit on one page.

What do buyers ask about A3808?

What if the artwork does not fit the imprint area?

The personalization area on A3808 is 4 in x 3.94 in. If your mark does not sit well in that shape we redraw or re-proportion it and show you the result on the proof before anything is produced. Engraving is charged on the share of the area your artwork covers, so a smaller mark costs less.

How should this be cared for?

Wipe with a soft damp cloth. Avoid ammonia-based glass cleaners, which can craze the surface. A3808 measures 8" x 8 3/4" and is made of acrylic. Acrylic is roughly half the weight of glass and dramatically harder to break, which matters more than people expect.

Do you keep this item in stock?

Yes. The warehouse shows 223 of A3808 in stock as of the last hourly sync. If a color is short we say so the day you order rather than the week before the deadline. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.

What does it actually cost at quantity?

The published ladder on A3808 runs from $117.00 a piece at 1-11 down to $72.54 at 500+, about 38% less per piece. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+. Engraving is a separate line, shown per quantity in the cost table on this page, so the all-in figure is visible before checkout. Ground freight is free on orders over $250.

What artwork do you need from me?

Send vector if it exists, raster at 300 dpi if it does not, and whatever you have if neither. The personalization area on A3808 is 4 in x 3.94 in, and we redraw or re-proportion anything that will not survive it. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing.

Can I get a sample before committing?

Yes: order one piece. A3808 sells from a single unit at $117.00, the first rung of its published ladder, so a sample is simply a normal order. A decorated single piece goes through the same proof as a full run.

What happens if something arrives damaged?

Tell us within 10 days of delivery and we replace it. Note any damage on the freight bill before you sign for it, because that is what the carrier claim turns on. Resolving it with the carrier is our job, not yours. The replacement runs from the artwork you already approved, so it matches the rest of the order.

What is the minimum order for A3808?

There is no minimum beyond one piece on A3808. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+. The price per piece only goes down as the quantity rises. The published ladder on A3808 runs from $117.00 a piece at 1-11 down to $72.54 at 500+, about 38% less per piece.
