What is the Orange 20 oz. Polar Camel Travel Mug with Slider Lid?

Catalogued as LCM212, this travel mug at 20 oz sits in the part of the range that gets re-ordered rather than tried once. It measures 7 7/8" (H) x 3 /14" Top diameter/with lid. This is the orange colorway.

Worth knowing before you order: built to survive real use rather than a single event, that is what separates a promotional item that keeps working from one that ends up in a drawer..

A sealed lid and a cup-holder base make this the item that actually leaves the building with your logo on it. Decoration method is matched to the substrate so the mark is permanent rather than printed on top. The two together are why this item re-orders.

Above handout territory. The value here is in choosing recipients deliberately, because the object is good enough that the choosing is part of the message. Concretely: $38.00 each at 1-11, $23.56 at 500+.

Decoration options

The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 2 in x 2 in.

Laser Engraving

A focused laser removes the surface layer to expose the substrate beneath. A permanent, high-contrast, single-color mark with no ink involved.

Best for

Logos, names, dates and fine text. The default choice when the mark has to outlive the campaign.

Color

Single color: the natural color of the material under the surface.

UV Printing

UV-cured ink is jetted directly onto the product and cured instantly under ultraviolet light. Full-color, photographic-quality artwork with hard edges and no dot gain.

Best for

Multi-color logos, gradients, photographs and exact brand-color matching.

Color

Full color, including white ink on dark substrates.

Artwork requirements

  • Raster artwork should be at least 300 dpi at the finished imprint size, on a transparent or white background.
  • Vector artwork (.ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg) reproduces best at every size and is what we ask for first.
  • Name the PMS values for anything that has to match a brand standard; screen color is not a reliable reference.
  • Vector files are the safe option. They hold their edges whether the mark runs at an inch or a foot.
  • A 300 dpi raster at the actual imprint dimensions will run cleanly. Anything pulled from a web page usually will not.
  • Nothing is produced before you approve a proof in writing. That is a hard rule, not a courtesy.

Common uses

CommutingSpecified regularly for commuting. The imprint area at 2 in x 2 in is sized for exactly that job.
Field and route workA natural fit for field and route work, which is one of the settings this travel mug was specified for.
Employee welcome kitsEmployee welcome kits is where this earns its cost, and where buyers re-order it.
Remote team welcome kitsShipped to a home address, which for a distributed team is the only physical touch the company gets.
Team and department awardsRecognizing a group without the cost or ceremony of individual crystal for every person.
Sponsorship and partner thanksGiven to the people who funded or enabled the work, in a form they can keep visible.
Safety and quality milestonesMarking a record that took every person on the floor to achieve, with something they can point at.
Recruiting and onboardingIncluded in offer packs and first-day kits, where the object is doing culture work from the very first hour.

Where this works best

The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.

1

Onboarding & New Hire Kits

Day one sets the tone for everything after it. Order for the year, not the hire. Onboarding kits fail on availability rather than design: a start date arrives, the item is out of stock, and the new person gets an apology instead of a welcome. Hold quantity against forecast headcount and the problem disappears. Minimum order is a single piece, which suits how this segment tends to buy. Reserve this for the shortlist and the response changes noticeably.

2

Construction, Trades & Field Services

On a job site, an item survives or it disappears. The item has to survive a truck bed in July and a tailgate in January. Thermal performance and impact resistance are the specification; everything else in this segment is decoration on top of that. A sealed lid and a cup-holder base make this the item that actually leaves the building with your logo on it. Personalise it. At this tier a name is what makes it land.

3

Corporate Gifting & Client Appreciation

Client gifting has one job: to be kept. A gift that lands on a client desk and stays there keeps working long after the meeting that prompted it. That argues for fewer, better pieces rather than a large volume of disposables, and for decoration that will still look intentional in two years. Decoration method is matched to the substrate so the mark is permanent rather than printed on top. Too good to scatter. Pick the recipients deliberately.

4

Automotive & Dealerships

Delivery day is the highest-emotion moment in the customer relationship. Service and sales want opposite things from the same budget. Sales needs a handful of pieces with real presence for delivery day; service needs high frequency at low cost. Splitting the budget explicitly stops one cannibalizing the other. The travel mug format earns its place here on keep-rate rather than headline price. Volume takes it to $23.56, which widens the list without cheapening it.

5

Technology, SaaS & Startups

Distributed teams have no office to carry the culture, so the objects have to. Company swag competes with genuinely good consumer products for the same desk space, and it usually loses. The piece has to be something the recipient would plausibly have bought, or it becomes a donation to a charity shop. The gesture is the product here. Spend the thought, not just the budget.

6

Healthcare & Senior Living

Healthcare buyers screen for practicality and hygiene before they screen for design. Easy-clean surfaces, no small detachable parts, and legible large-format personalization all matter. Staff appreciation is a genuine retention lever in this sector, and a good piece of drinkware or desk recognition costs a fraction of replacing a nurse. Built to survive real use rather than a single event, that is what separates a promotional item that keeps working from one that ends up in a drawer.. At $38.00 before breaks, name the recipients rather than filling a table.

What do buyers ask about LCM212?

What artwork do you need from me?

Vector artwork is ideal (.ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg) with all type converted to outlines. High-resolution raster at 300 dpi or better also works, and a logo saved from a website is worth sending anyway. We check it against the 2 in x 2 in personalization area and tell you before you pay whether it holds up at that size.

Can I get a sample before committing?

Yes: order one piece. LCM212 sells from a single unit at $38.00, the first rung of its published ladder, so a sample is simply a normal order. A decorated single piece goes through the same proof as a full run.

What does it actually cost at quantity?

Most orders land near 48-95, which prices at $30.40 a piece. The published ladder on LCM212 runs from $38.00 a piece at 1-11 down to $23.56 at 500+, about 38% less per piece. Engraving is a separate line, shown per quantity in the cost table on this page, so the all-in figure is visible before checkout.

What happens if something arrives damaged?

Tell us within 10 days of delivery and we replace it. Note any damage on the freight bill before you sign for it, because that is what the carrier claim turns on. Resolving it with the carrier is our job, not yours. The replacement runs from the artwork you already approved, so it matches the rest of the order.

How is this decorated?

We run laser engraving on LCM212 as standard. A permanent, high-contrast, single-color mark with no ink involved. We can also run UV Printing on this item if the artwork calls for it. The personalization area on LCM212 is 2 in x 2 in. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing.

What if the artwork does not fit the imprint area?

The personalization area on LCM212 is 2 in x 2 in. If your mark does not sit well in that shape we redraw or re-proportion it and show you the result on the proof before anything is produced. Engraving is charged on the share of the area your artwork covers, so a smaller mark costs less.

Do you keep this item in stock?

Yes. The warehouse shows more than 1,000 of LCM212 in stock as of the last hourly sync. If a color is short we say so the day you order rather than the week before the deadline. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.

What is the minimum order for LCM212?

There is no minimum beyond one piece on LCM212. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+. The price per piece only goes down as the quantity rises. The published ladder on LCM212 runs from $38.00 a piece at 1-11 down to $23.56 at 500+, about 38% less per piece.

  • Ground freight is free from 12 pieces, which is where this order passes $250.00 of merchandise.
  • The personalization area is 2 in by 2 in. Engraving is charged on the share your artwork actually covers, so a smaller logo costs less. Place yours on the product above and the price updates as you size it.
  • At 50 pieces this costs less than 11% of the 532 other priced items in Drinkware. It sits at the dearer end of that range, which is usually the material rather than the margin.
  • The table starts at 12 because below that the engraving setup costs more than the goods, and we will not guess at a price there. Ask us and we will quote a smaller run from your artwork.
