What is the Premier Rectangle Glass Award, 7"?

The Premier Rectangle Glass Award, 7" is a plaque built around Annealed glass with polished edges and a clear, even body. It measures 7".

Glass gives you most of the visual authority of crystal at a materially lower cost, which is what makes it the practical choice when you are recognizing a whole team rather than one person..

Wall-mounted recognition stays visible to everyone who walks past, not just the recipient. On this substrate specifically: deep etch sand carving frosts the surface for a bright white mark that photographs well. Laser engraving handles finer detail.

This reads as a considered gift, which means it rewards a named list and wastes its advantage on a table by the door. Concretely: $39.00 each at 1-11, $24.18 at 500+.

Decoration options

The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 4 in x 5.5 in.

Sand Carving

Abrasive is blasted through a cut mask to cut into the surface of the glass or crystal. A deep, frosted, dimensional mark you can feel with a fingertip.

Best for

Crystal and glass awards where depth and presence matter more than color.

Color

Frosted white, optionally color-filled.

Laser Engraving

A focused laser removes the surface layer to expose the substrate beneath. A permanent, high-contrast, single-color mark with no ink involved.

Best for

Logos, names, dates and fine text. The default choice when the mark has to outlive the campaign.

Color

Single color: the natural color of the material under the surface.

UV Printing

UV-cured ink is jetted directly onto the product and cured instantly under ultraviolet light. Full-color, photographic-quality artwork with hard edges and no dot gain.

Best for

Multi-color logos, gradients, photographs and exact brand-color matching.

Color

Full color, including white ink on dark substrates.

Artwork requirements

  • Outline your fonts before sending. It removes the most common cause of a proof coming back wrong.
  • A 300 dpi raster at the actual imprint dimensions will run cleanly. Anything pulled from a web page usually will not.
  • Convert all type to outlines so fonts do not substitute in production.
  • Name the PMS values for anything that has to match a brand standard; screen color is not a reliable reference.
  • Vector files are the safe option. They hold their edges whether the mark runs at an inch or a foot.

Common uses

Service awardsSpecified regularly for service awards. The imprint area at 4 in x 5.5 in is sized for exactly that job.
Donor recognitionBuilt for donor recognition. That is the use case the format was designed around, not one retrofitted to it.
Sponsor and partner recognitionWorks well for sponsor and partner recognition, where the plaque format does what a printed handout cannot.
Customer loyalty tiersA physical marker of status that an account dashboard cannot replicate.
Booth and trade show handoutsThe item that gives someone a reason to stop walking, and a reason to remember which booth it came from.
Employee milestonesAnniversaries, promotions and retirements: the moments where a personalized object does what an email cannot.
Executive and board giftingShort lists, individual personalization, and a piece that survives scrutiny.

Where this works best

The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.

1

Government, Military & First Responders

This segment is precise about protocol and unforgiving about quality. Protocol governs the object. Placement of insignia, order of precedence on a plaque and the wording of a commendation are conventions rather than preferences, and getting them wrong is the one error this segment does not overlook. At $39.00 before breaks, name the recipients rather than filling a table.

2

Faith & Community Organizations

Faith communities give to mark moments rather than to advertise. Baptisms, confirmations, ordinations, volunteer milestones and building dedications all call for keepsakes carrying a name and a date. Understated decoration outperforms bold branding almost every time in this segment. Glass gives you most of the visual authority of crystal at a materially lower cost, which is what makes it the practical choice when you are recognizing a whole team rather than one person.. This reads as a gift. Give it to people you chose, not people who walked past.

3

Sports Leagues, Tournaments & Clubs

Sport needs volume, deadlines and a clear hierarchy of awards. Awards are read as a hierarchy whether or not you intended one. If the participation piece and the champion piece look similar, the champion feels short-changed, and that is remembered longer than the result. Worth personalising individually at this price; the response rate justifies it.

4

Employee Recognition & Service Awards

Recognition fails when the object does not match the words. Consistency is what makes a recognition program credible. If a ten year award looks better this year than it did last year, everyone who got last year's version notices. Lock the specification and the supplier, and treat the item list as something you change deliberately rather than annually. Decoration holds up in this setting, which is where cheaper substrates fail. $39.00 before breaks puts this above hand-out territory. Use it that way.

5

Nonprofit & Fundraising

Every pound spent on a donor gift is a pound not spent on the mission, so the gift has to earn it. Recognition pieces for major donors and board members are the clearest win: they are relatively few, they are highly personal, and they materially affect renewal. For event merchandise, price the item to sell rather than to give. An imprint area of 4 in x 5.5 in is enough for a logo and a line of text without crowding. Reserve this for the shortlist and the response changes noticeably.

What do buyers ask about CGS31?

What does it actually cost at quantity?

Most orders land near 48-95, which prices at $31.20 a piece. The published ladder on CGS31 runs from $39.00 a piece at 1-11 down to $24.18 at 500+, about 38% less per piece. Engraving is a separate line, shown per quantity in the cost table on this page, so the all-in figure is visible before checkout.

How long does production take?

Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit. The clock starts when you approve the proof, not when you place the order. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing. A rush is quoted per job, with the date confirmed in writing before you pay.

Is there a setup charge?

No. Setup is free on every order at every quantity. Art preparation, machine setup and your digital proof are built into the price, with nothing added for them later. Engraving is a separate line, shown per quantity in the cost table on this page, so the all-in figure is visible before checkout.

What artwork do you need from me?

Vector artwork is ideal (.ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg) with all type converted to outlines. High-resolution raster at 300 dpi or better also works, and a logo saved from a website is worth sending anyway. We check it against the 4 in x 5.5 in personalization area and tell you before you pay whether it holds up at that size.

Do you ship to multiple addresses?

Yes, through a quote. Card checkout ships one order to one address, so for a split run send the address list with a quote request and we confirm the freight for every destination in writing before you pay. The artwork is proofed once and applied across the whole run. Ground freight is free on orders over $250.

Can I get a sample before committing?

Yes: order one piece. CGS31 sells from a single unit at $39.00, the first rung of its published ladder, so a sample is simply a normal order. A decorated single piece goes through the same proof as a full run.

How is this decorated?

Sand Carving is the primary method on CGS31. Abrasive is blasted through a cut mask to cut into the surface of the glass or crystal. A deep, frosted, dimensional mark you can feel with a fingertip. We can also run Laser Engraving and UV Printing on this item if the artwork calls for it. The personalization area on CGS31 is 4 in x 5.5 in.

What is the minimum order for CGS31?

There is no minimum beyond one piece on CGS31. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+. The price per piece only goes down as the quantity rises. The published ladder on CGS31 runs from $39.00 a piece at 1-11 down to $24.18 at 500+, about 38% less per piece.
