What is the Portfolio with Smooth Fabric and Gray Canvas?

A working journal. Heavyweight cotton canvas. It measures 7" x 9". This is the gray colorway.

Canvas is the workhorse bag material: it takes weight, it takes abuse, and it looks better worn than new.

A journal is carried into meetings, which puts the logo in front of third parties rather than only the recipient. On this substrate specifically: screen printing and embroidery both hold well on canvas.

This reads as a considered gift, which means it rewards a named list and wastes its advantage on a table by the door. Concretely: $26.70 each at 1-11, $16.55 at 500+.

Decoration options

The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 4.2 in x 3.5 in.

Screen Printing

Ink is pushed through a mesh stencil, one screen per color. Dense, opaque color that holds up to washing and handling.

Best for

Bags, apparel and high-volume runs.

Color

Spot colors, typically up to 4.

Embroidery

The design is stitched directly into the fabric. A raised, textured, extremely durable mark.

Best for

Headwear, polos, bags and anything expected to be laundered.

Color

Thread-matched to brand colors.

Heat Transfer

A printed transfer is applied under heat and pressure. Full-color decoration on fabrics and soft goods.

Best for

Small runs and complex multi-color artwork on textiles.

Color

Full color.

Artwork requirements

  • Raster artwork should be at least 300 dpi at the finished imprint size, on a transparent or white background.
  • If the logo is only available as a bitmap, we need it at 300 dpi or better at final size, ideally on a transparent background.
  • Do not spend a week hunting for the perfect file. Send what exists and we will tell you what is usable.
  • Outline your fonts before sending. It removes the most common cause of a proof coming back wrong.
  • Send the file you have, even if it is imperfect. We will tell you honestly whether it will hold up and redraw it if it will not.
  • A digital proof comes back to you first, every time. Production starts on your written approval and not before.

Common uses

Executive giftingWorks well for executive gifting, where the journal format does what a printed handout cannot.
Conference kitsBuilt for conference kits. That is the use case the format was designed around, not one retrofitted to it.
OnboardingSpecified regularly for onboarding. The imprint area at 4.2 in x 3.5 in is sized for exactly that job.
Employee milestonesAnniversaries, promotions and retirements: the moments where a personalized object does what an email cannot.
Renewal and retention giftsTimed to the contract date rather than the calendar, which is when the recipient is actually paying attention.
Executive and board giftingShort lists, individual personalization, and a piece that survives scrutiny.
Community and civic eventsLocal sponsorships and volunteer thanks, where visible presence matters more than volume.

Where this works best

The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.

1

Corporate Gifting & Client Appreciation

Client gifting has one job: to be kept. The recipient is rarely the decision maker you are trying to reach, which is the part most programs get wrong. Choose something that will sit in a shared space rather than a drawer, and the gift starts working on people who were never on your list. A journal is carried into meetings, which puts the logo in front of third parties rather than only the recipient. At $26.70 before breaks, name the recipients rather than filling a table.

2

Education, Schools & Universities

Education buys in waves: orientation, homecoming, graduation, staff appreciation. Budgets are tight and quantities are large, which pushes toward mid-tier items ordered in volume. Alumni and donor gifting is the exception: that is where the spend per unit rises sharply, because the return is measured in gifts rather than impressions. Screen printing and embroidery both hold well on canvas. This reads as a gift. Give it to people you chose, not people who walked past.

3

Technology, SaaS & Startups

Distributed teams have no office to carry the culture, so the objects have to. Shipping is the hidden cost and the hidden failure. An item that arrives damaged or takes three weeks to reach a remote hire does the opposite of what it was bought for, so pack weight and carrier reliability belong in the specification. The journal format earns its place here on keep-rate rather than headline price. Worth personalising individually at this price; the response rate justifies it.

4

Onboarding & New Hire Kits

Day one sets the tone for everything after it. Split the kit by what it signals. One item should be genuinely useful on day one, one should be shareable outside work, and one should carry the name of the team rather than the company. That mix does more for belonging than a single expensive piece. $26.70 before breaks puts this above hand-out territory. Use it that way.

5

Trade Shows & Conferences

Booth traffic is not the metric: what leaves the hall and stays in use is. Run a two-tier giveaway: a low-cost item for everyone who stops, and a genuinely good piece reserved for qualified conversations. The second tier is what people remember when your follow-up email arrives a week later. Canvas is the workhorse bag material: it takes weight, it takes abuse, and it looks better worn than new.. Reserve this for the shortlist and the response changes noticeably.

6

Financial Services, Insurance & Legal

Professional services sell trust, and the gift has to look like the invoice. Compliance shapes the purchase more than taste does. Many institutions cap the value of a client gift and require it to be logged, which pushes this segment toward pieces that read as considered rather than expensive. Personalise it. At this tier a name is what makes it land.

What do buyers ask about SBT025?

Can you work to a fixed in-hand date?

Yes. Give us the in-hand date and checkout tells you immediately whether standard production makes it. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit. A rush is quoted per job, with the date confirmed in writing before you pay.

How should this be cared for?

Spot clean. Air dry. SBT025 measures 7" x 9" and is made of canvas. Canvas is the workhorse bag material: it takes weight, it takes abuse, and it looks better worn than new. We keep the approved artwork on file against the item number, so a re-order runs from the same file.

What happens if something arrives damaged?

Tell us within 10 days of delivery and we replace it. Note any damage on the freight bill before you sign for it, because that is what the carrier claim turns on. Resolving it with the carrier is our job, not yours. The replacement runs from the artwork you already approved, so it matches the rest of the order.

What does it actually cost at quantity?

The published ladder on SBT025 runs from $26.70 a piece at 1-11 down to $16.55 at 500+, about 38% less per piece. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+. Engraving is a separate line, shown per quantity in the cost table on this page, so the all-in figure is visible before checkout. Ground freight is free on orders over $250.

Can I mix colors or sizes to reach a quantity break?

Yes, provided the artwork stays the same across the run. Different artwork is fine as well: it gets its own proof, and setup stays free. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+. The published ladder on SBT025 runs from $26.70 a piece at 1-11 down to $16.55 at 500+, about 38% less per piece.

Do you keep this item in stock?

Yes. The warehouse shows 495 of SBT025 in stock as of the last hourly sync. If a color is short we say so the day you order rather than the week before the deadline. Standard production is 3 to 5 business days after proof approval, then 1 to 5 business days of ground transit.

Do you ship to multiple addresses?

Yes, through a quote. Card checkout ships one order to one address, so for a split run send the address list with a quote request and we confirm the freight for every destination in writing before you pay. The artwork is proofed once and applied across the whole run. Ground freight is free on orders over $250.

What is the minimum order for SBT025?

SBT025 can be ordered from a single piece. The published ladder on SBT025 runs from $26.70 a piece at 1-11 down to $16.55 at 500+, about 38% less per piece. There is no setup fee at any quantity. The personalization area on SBT025 is 4.2 in x 3.5 in.
