What is the Small Gold Reflection Optima Acrylic?

This acrylic award is made from cast acrylic with flame-polished edges. It measures 4" x 6". This is the gold colorway.

Acrylic is roughly half the weight of glass and dramatically harder to break, which matters more than people expect. It survives shipping to a remote office, it survives a trade show crate, and it survives being knocked off a desk. That is the difference between something kept and something replaced.

Acrylic takes full-color UV printing beautifully, so unlike crystal it can reproduce a logo in exact brand colors rather than as a frosted silhouette. Laser engraving gives the frosted look when that is preferred. Acrylic is the only award substrate that reproduces a full-color logo cleanly and survives being posted to a home address.

At this level the piece is doing relationship work, not advertising work. Reserve it for named recipients, key clients, top performers, long-service milestones, and personalize it individually. Concretely: $102.00 each at 1-11, $63.24 at 500+.

Decoration options

The decoration method is chosen to match the substrate, which is why the mark is permanent rather than printed on top of it. Standard imprint area on this item is 3 in x 3.09 in.

UV Printing

UV-cured ink is jetted directly onto the product and cured instantly under ultraviolet light. Full-color, photographic-quality artwork with hard edges and no dot gain.

Best for

Multi-color logos, gradients, photographs and exact brand-color matching.

Color

Full color, including white ink on dark substrates.

Laser Engraving

A focused laser removes the surface layer to expose the substrate beneath. A permanent, high-contrast, single-color mark with no ink involved.

Best for

Logos, names, dates and fine text. The default choice when the mark has to outlive the campaign.

Color

Single color: the natural color of the material under the surface.

Laser Cutting

The laser cuts entirely through the sheet to a custom outline. A shape cut to your logo or silhouette rather than a stock outline.

Best for

Acrylic awards and signage that should not look off-the-shelf.

Color

Material color.

Artwork requirements

  • Convert all type to outlines so fonts do not substitute in production.
  • If the logo is only available as a bitmap, we need it at 300 dpi or better at final size, ideally on a transparent background.
  • Nothing is produced before you approve a proof in writing. That is a hard rule, not a courtesy.
  • A digital proof comes back to you first, every time. Production starts on your written approval and not before.
  • Send vector if you have it. A .ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg scales to any imprint without softening.

Common uses

Full-color brand awardsSpecified regularly for full-color brand awards. The imprint area at 3 in x 3.09 in is sized for exactly that job.
Sales recognitionWorks well for sales recognition, where the acrylic award format does what a printed handout cannot.
Remote-team shippingBuilt for remote-team shipping. That is the use case the format was designed around, not one retrofitted to it.
Fundraising and donor recognitionThanking the people who gave, in a form that quietly encourages the next person to.
Internal contests and incentivesA tangible prize outperforms a gift card for exactly the reason you would expect. It stays on the desk.
Booth and trade show handoutsThe item that gives someone a reason to stop walking, and a reason to remember which booth it came from.
Service anniversariesFive, ten and twenty years. The object marks the span in a way a announcement never manages.
Recruiting and onboardingIncluded in offer packs and first-day kits, where the object is doing culture work from the very first hour.

Where this works best

The same item lands differently depending on who gets it and why. Here is how this one performs across the programs it sells into most.

1

Nonprofit & Fundraising

Every pound spent on a donor gift is a pound not spent on the mission, so the gift has to earn it. Donors read the gift as a statement about stewardship. Something visibly expensive can cost you more in confidence than it earns in goodwill, which is why restraint and a personal inscription usually outperform scale in this sector. Reserve it for named recipients: key clients, top performers, long service.

2

Technology, SaaS & Startups

Distributed teams have no office to carry the culture, so the objects have to. Company swag competes with genuinely good consumer products for the same desk space, and it usually loses. The piece has to be something the recipient would plausibly have bought, or it becomes a donation to a charity shop. Acrylic is roughly half the weight of glass and dramatically harder to break, which matters more than people expect. This is a shortlist item. Individual personalisation is expected at this level.

3

Employee Recognition & Service Awards

Recognition fails when the object does not match the words. If you are marking five or ten years of someone's working life, the piece has to carry weight. Literally and otherwise. Personalization with the individual's name is what converts a company gift into a personal keepsake, and it is the single highest-leverage decision in a recognition program. $102.00 before breaks buys something that stays on a desk for years.

4

Education, Schools & Universities

Education buys in waves: orientation, homecoming, graduation, staff appreciation. Departments buy separately even when the brand is shared, which is how a university ends up with nine versions of its own crest. A single approved item list with locked artwork solves more than any individual purchasing decision will. Decoration holds up in this setting, which is where cheaper substrates fail. Give this to the handful of people who genuinely moved the number.

5

Franchise & Multi-Location Brands

The hard problem in multi-location branding is consistency, not creativity. Artwork drift is cumulative and invisible until it is severe. A locked file held centrally against each item number, rather than a logo emailed between locations, is what stops forty sites gradually producing forty logos. An imprint area of 3 in x 3.09 in is enough for a logo and a line of text without crowding. At this price the recipient list should fit on one page.

What do buyers ask about ROP6?

Can I get a sample before committing?

Yes: order one piece. ROP6 sells from a single unit at $102.00, the first rung of its published ladder, so a sample is simply a normal order. A decorated single piece goes through the same proof as a full run.

What artwork do you need from me?

Send vector if it exists, raster at 300 dpi if it does not, and whatever you have if neither. The personalization area on ROP6 is 3 in x 3.09 in, and we redraw or re-proportion anything that will not survive it. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing.

How should this be cared for?

Wipe with a soft damp cloth. Avoid ammonia-based glass cleaners, which can craze the surface. ROP6 measures 4" x 6" and is made of acrylic. Acrylic is roughly half the weight of glass and dramatically harder to break, which matters more than people expect.

What happens if something arrives damaged?

Tell us within 10 days of delivery and we replace it. Note any damage on the freight bill before you sign for it, because that is what the carrier claim turns on. Resolving it with the carrier is our job, not yours. The replacement runs from the artwork you already approved, so it matches the rest of the order.

What if the artwork does not fit the imprint area?

The personalization area on ROP6 is 3 in x 3.09 in. If your mark does not sit well in that shape we redraw or re-proportion it and show you the result on the proof before anything is produced. Engraving is charged on the share of the area your artwork covers, so a smaller mark costs less.

How is this decorated?

We run uv printing on ROP6 as standard. Full-color, photographic-quality artwork with hard edges and no dot gain. We can also run Laser Engraving and Laser Cutting on this item if the artwork calls for it. The personalization area on ROP6 is 3 in x 3.09 in. A free digital proof comes back within one business day of usable artwork, and nothing is produced until you approve it in writing.

Do you ship to multiple addresses?

Yes, through a quote. Card checkout ships one order to one address, so for a split run send the address list with a quote request and we confirm the freight for every destination in writing before you pay. The artwork is proofed once and applied across the whole run. Ground freight is free on orders over $250.

What is the minimum order for ROP6?

There is no minimum beyond one piece on ROP6. Price breaks on this item fall at 1-11, 12-23, 24-47, 48-95, 96-249, 250-499, 500+. The price per piece only goes down as the quantity rises. The published ladder on ROP6 runs from $102.00 a piece at 1-11 down to $63.24 at 500+, about 38% less per piece.
